2 Patchworks = 2-mana Huffers, huh?
I mean...yeah? But also 2-mana Mishas and 2-Mana Leokks.
A 2 mana 4/4 taunt and a 2 mana 2/4 buff is very good in a vacuum, though having to pass turn two is very bad for hunter, especially considering the 2 cost cards curve oddly.
Ok so we're getting Ball of Spiders which puts 3 beasts in your hand, Master's Call which puts 3 beasts in your hand. Patchwork Pals which puts 3 beasts in your hand. I guess the best hunter card this expansion is Mountain Giant.
If you put Mountain Giant in your deck Master's Call is not going to put 3 beasts in your hand 100% of the time. Cause destiny finds reasons to continue existing rejoicing in your misery.
Toyrannosaurus is a better Humongous Owl.
No Testing Dummy is
Toyrannosaurus is my favorite pun name since Gnomeferatu
Patchwork Pals is better Call of the Wild, and much better To My Side! This card will see a lot of play.
Fetch! looks really interesting for my janky combo decks, and will also probably see a lot of meta play in the likely midrange buff beast hunter.
I'm kind of ambivalent about Toyrannosaurus.
These are all three definitely playable, two of them even good. Finally.
I really hoped they would bring the zombeasts in some shape or form...
Me too man, for sure one of my favorite mechanics. At least we have Xilliax Deluxe 3000.
And who knows, there is still a chance the miniset can give us a new Zombeast making card in some form :D
The "Fetch!" card is too darn cute. I like the idea of calling on a pet to go and fetch a spell for you.
I'd rather them fetch a weapon.
No shortage of Hunter spells.
