Treasure Distributor. 10/10 the best card for aggressive pirate decks, very important in wild but in standard it will not see play until the second expansion of this year because according to the image of this year's expansions it is seen with a beach atmosphere and logically there will be more pirates
Sing-Along Buddy. For interesting combos like Value (Pulsing Pumpkins, Ascendant Scroll, Build-A-Beast, Galakrond's Wit and Galakrond's Guile) or just kill the opponent like (Ashfallen's Fury with Expendable Performers and Felfire Deadeye (Steady Shot with Tavish, Master Marksman) (Pharaoh's Warmask) (The Four Horsemen with Garrison Commander)
Rumble Enthusiast. It's basically Altruis the Outcast but limited to only dealing damage to a random enemy character, total garbage
Nostalgic Initiate. Another yeti for 3 mana for rogue
Card Grader, Giggling Toymaker and Origami Frog. They are ok
Clearance Promoter. These types of cards that discount even just 2 spells are always good, I think it's good so that they are not as abusive as others
Forgotten Animatronic. The Card of '87
Sing-Along Buddy Is gonna definitely cause problems in wild hero power hunter lists.
Will the effect on Forgotten Animatronic break stealth? Otherwise it can prove to be an insane way to control the board where alot of classes doesnt have good options to remove a minion in stealth.
All of us achievement grinders kindly welcome Card Grader
I could be wrong but I feel like Sing-Along Buddy causes some problems in Wild.
Half the Hero Powers necessary to kill for Shadowreaper Anduin, Uther of the Ebon Blade, and a 2x boosted Groovy Cat Druid. This card also sees play in Even Shaman/Warrior + any Even Hunters still wandering around.
I don't necessarily have an issue with the effect of the card, but I think it would've been a 4-mana Epic as little as a few years ago.
It's basically a 2 mana Clockwork Automaton that works for every hero power, so you aren't wrong.
Sing-Along Buddy plus Garrison Commander after playing Uther of the Ebon Blade is an 8 mana combo which summons all 4 horsemen. This seems strong, but you need to make it to Turn 9 and play Uther, which is pretty difficult in Wild. Depends heavily on how well Paladin's defensive tools work against the aggro/combo Wild loves so much.
Paladin sucks against combo but absolutely stomps aggro if you push your deck in controlish ways. Absolutely gonna try this deck + ramping with Nozdormu the Timeless. I wasn't hyped about this exp before, but now I am.
May as well add Quest Hunter to the list there. With the glut of damage spells they've been given the past couple years, I've had solid luck with that deck even thought it's technically off-meta for the format now. Sing-Along Buddy will slot in just fine there.
Paladin already has an otk on 5, so this is slow.
Animatronic looks really good, against board-based decks without hard removal it can just win you the game on the spot.
Toymaker should be a decent defensive minion.
Card Grader could fit into a handbuff deck.
Nostalgic Initiate looks insane in Hunter with their many 1-cost spells.
Sing-Along Buddy enables 4 hero power activations with Popular Pixie for only 8 mana.
Yay, Sing-Along Buddy is a card I've been waiting for. Never could bring myself to spend those 800 dust on Garrison Commanders, and now it's here basically for free. It's not exactly the same effect, but outside of a few classes and fringe scenarios it doesn't matter, and also saves mana, making it actually better.
Card Grader is also a nice neutral version of Thrive in the Shadows, although the 1 mana difference is kind of a big deal. Edit: Just see it discovers a card, not a spell. Slightly less interesting, but still alright.
Okay, the Nostalgic cycle is kinda cute. I though it was a weird name for a card when I saw Nostalgic Clown, but they are basically cards with Miniaturize that have an effect that reminds to an old keyword, in this case Intrepid Initiate.
This is so far being my favorite set in years. Im really enjoying every card. Tho I don't know why, but it feels like Matt Dixon fully embraced cocaine in this set. Which is pretty on theme with this set to be honest. But those faces are pretty into something.
I thought toymaker was 4 mana battlecry, and I felt raw fear for a minute there.
Also, Sing along buddy is decent support for pretty much every even deck.
Giggling Toymaker's triggering my PTSD, man...
yeah, more pirate rogue / shadow priest buffs, thx for printing another broken pirate, we love losing to aggro on turn 2
Rogue will lose plenty pirates with the rotation...
They're talking about wild.
Uhh, I like the Sing-Along Buddy.
Sing-Along Buddy is useless in heroes like Rogue >:(
