So uh not sure if Kel'Thuzad fits thematically with Priest but I still kinda think this card's neat since it's highlander and rez priest so here's the card I made. Any Thoughts?

StaleMeta posted a message on Anyone else tired of the meta?

I’m always playing against the same three decks. Face hunter, demon hunter, and libram paladin. Of course there are other annoyingly common decks such as face rogue, freeze mage, and bomb warrior. All these decks have their counters but using a deck to counter a single type of deck is usually not a good idea.

Everything that I mentioned above has been common in hearthstone for years but what I hate most about the meta is that everyone uses the same.god.damn.cards. The opponents become so predictable it just becomes boring. Climbing up the ladder isn’t difficult but it just isn’t...fun.

Never at any point did I feel a priest playing Illucia at 2 mana being unfair or ruined my experience.

On the other hand... Secret passage, Voracious reader and Argent Braggart are a whole other story.

I must agree with other people complaining here that priest, having at most a low tier 2 deck didn't deserve a nerf. I always feel like Priest get's hit by the ***er every single expansion for no reason (Extra arms....)

    Quote from Jennifer >>

    Let's try to find out!

There's somewhere around 740 different spells to choose from if we include Scholomance, according to Hearthstonetopdecks.

I've done a very quick evaluation of all of them and sorted them in three categories; almost never good, almost never bad, and somewhat neutral. The lists are in the bottom of my post.

Almost never good are cards that will generally just fuck your shit up - those are the cards you're asking about. There are 20 spells in this category.

Almost never bad includes cards that only destroy or deal damage to enemies or only generate resources for you. I've not included any cards that remove cards from your deck in this category, since getting fatigued by Reno is a very real possibility. I've also not included cards that generate too many minions on your board or cards in your hand, since cluttering can also be problematic, but generally cards that create 1-2 cards in hand or minions on board, I've counted as almost never bad. There are 255 spells in this category.

Somewhat neutral is everything else, which is 740-20-255=465 spells. I'll assume these have good and bad outcomes at the same rate, so 50/50. That means we can count half these cards as bad and the other half as good, for the purpose of probability.

Thus, a rough estimate of the odds of a good outcome is 487,5/740, or roughly 66%, and of a bad outcome is 252,5/740, or roughly 34%.

    Here are the lists:

I will probably disagree with everyone here and get all the downvotes, but this is definitely not a fun brawl. It's just regular playing with heavily limited deckbuilding. Nothing special or crazy.

Altruis is definitely not fine. He stills does way too much damage through repeated play of low cost cards discounted to 0 mana (Skull of Gul'dan). I lost to one yesterday while having full health, a Dragonqueen Alexstrasza and Nozari on the board. He placed this card and started chaining multiple cards while refilling his hand with Skull and managed to destroy both minions (two of the largest ones) and did more than 20 damage putting me in critical health. All in one turn because of Altruis. That nerf was a complete joke.

Telling people to adapt is the same as telling someone who is experiencing life troubles "Life is unfair, get over it." Offer something meaningful. Anyone can say that. I don't personally have a problem with Demon Hunter because I hardly see it in Wild, but I will say one thing. These observations are both valid and relevant. Priestess of Fury is more strong than Rag. That Glaivebound Adept nerf did tackle the wrong problem. I would like to compare Glaivebound Adept to two Basic cards. Fire Elemental and Stormpike Commando. As for Stormpike Commando, 1 mana, or 0 with Twin Slice or a weapon already equipped, should not be able to justify +2/+2 and +2 damage in a Basic card. Fire Elemental is 1 mana more, one less damage, and one more health.

To this day, I think they waited way too long to add a new Class to the game. I think it was a fun idea, but maybe not a good one. There is definitely a power level difference with Demon Hunter on a basic level than any other class in my opinion.

It's not like that at all... It's a constant barrage of the same salt over, and over, and over and people are tired of posting the same counters over and over just so the poster can call you names. These people just want everyone to assure them that it's the game, not their playing, and the moment you suggest otherwise by offering advice, they take it as an insult. "How dare you tell me these OP decks are beatable!!! I should be able to beat them with my meme deck!!! NERF DH UNTIL MY FIST OF RA'DEN SHAMAN CAN BEAT IT!!!"... It's exhausting... HS is a competitive game... Sometimes you have to play decks that aren't your favorite if you want to win... Sorry... Play your meme deck, and try to enjoy it even though you may not win much, play a competitive deck, or move on to another game... Those are the options... Blizzard knows the issues... Crying on this message board will do absolutely nothing... They will fix it according to statistics, or they won't. End of story.
