Yea, it's a sort of replacement for Brann. However, you cant drop this card by itself, otherwise it will be removed immediately just like Brann was, and Brann even could come out at turn 3, so even so early in the game the opponent will usually be able to remove it.
Otherwise, you have to combo this card with a deathrattle minion to get some value, which is fine, but worthy deathrattle minions are harder to find than worthy battlecry minions bc battlecry is usually more powerful and much more common.
Yea we all are now dreaming with the Cairne+Umbra combo, but realistically this stuff doesnt happen often, and anyway it's a turn 10 combo, when the big threats come into play one after another. And, if you manage to keep Umbra more than one turn, you were gonna win already, so it's like a win more card.

=> Maybe not every deck, maybe not every class. But a 5 mana 8/8 Murloc tag that makes you draw easily 3-6 murlocs with no drawback is really strong. Aggro would love it, Midrange would love it, it's even good in Control, and it has the Murloc synergy.- If Nether Portal was a neutral card, would you add it to your deck ?
=> Gaining permanently two 3/2 every turn for 5 mana ? Yeah, I guess almost every deck would run it.- If Crystal Core was a neutral card, would you add it to your deck ?
=> What deck would have the freedom to spend its 5th turn to do NOTHING to have such a reward ? Aggro could never play it, Midrange would never lose so much tempo, so there is only Control ... but does Control decks want their Ysera or Ragnaros the Firelord to be 5/5 ? Only a token-based deck could make use for it, but token decks are usually Midrange, and losing your whole 5th turn in Midrange is a high risk.So here it is : the Rogue quest is the most difficult to pull out. Yet, it is the only one that gives you a reward that would never be an auto-include.
I'm not discussing the flavor (which is boring AF btw), but the power of the card : it. is. crap. Period. For now we now already 3 classes that will get super powerful quests, and Rogue gets a shitty clumsy one. Like always.
And Rogue normal Legendary is shit, like always.
So let's play Miracle again for the next 4 months !

The nerfs and rotations start at cards like Gadgetzan Auctioneer, they end at Nat Pagle. When you remove a powerful card or archetype, ineveitably a new card will take it's place. So let's say we remove azure drake, now everyone is playing mass dispell. So we remove mass dispell. Now everyone is playing mind blast. So we remove mind blast. Now everyone is playing mind games. So we remove mind games. That is the only direction this road can lead. My example may seem nonsensical because the cards appear to be unrelated, but the point stands. It is a flawed logic that Blizzard is using, and they are ultimately going to war with players as they try to hamfist what cards they want to see play over cards that we want to play.
Killing archetypes with nerfs is not a good solution. Likewise, sending all the cards to wild doesn't help because wild is already and unbalanced mess that will just keep getting worse.
It is a sad fact, but team 5 has created a mess and I don't think anybody on this planet could even guess as to how we clean it up.

shit, 9 is too high for something with 3 attack. It should create another 3/9 with battlecry, deathrattle is irrelevant in some cases, and 3 attack is just absurdly low.

everyone say thanks to Kripp and his vegan whining about priest's lack of board clears. Now priest has it all.
Board clears:
Spirit Lash, Kazakus, Shadow Word: Horror + Pint-Sized Potion, Holy Nova, Dragon Fire Potion, Duskbreaker, Psychic Scream, Shadowreaper Anduin (which also works as clear for huge minions).
Listen more to retarded opinions on how to break the game.
The only card which can help you to recover after this bullshit is another broken card - Ultimate Infestation.
Nothing else works, its game over.
Nobody cares how huge is your deck and how many great legendary minions in it, if you have no draw.

strictly worse than mukla for mill, dunno why people think it is for a mill deck, its a deathrattle not even battlecry.

This card is realy good, it is a solid addition to burn/secret mage. I'd choose it over Mirror Entity every time i have to build a deck.
