Mo mulligan with Whizbang, right? It starts after that like Genn/Baku, isn't it? Haven't watched the announcement yet, for case if it's already explained.
That card would be way too op, cause it is a key finder. Jaina, UI, Shadderwock, Guldan (without giants), Valeera. It should be very slow, but low enough for card draw. I would say 5/6 mana.
It's a balanced meta, but it depends of highrolls and rock paper scissor matchups. Blizzard should find a way avoiding netdecking. That's the biggest and most annoying issue.
Change standard expansions every season so that netdecking doesn't work and the game stays fresh. Give weak card buffs instead of nerfs for collectors. A win or a loss shouldn't depend on a single card or highroll.
So, laddering is still not enjoyable, but meta is "healthy".
You should consider, that it is definitley an one-year-card. After chain gang rotation it will disappear. (As long as no new copy battlecry comes around)
It was nerfed, cause mage was pretty ugly with that. But in times of naga and 3/9 taunts all the way and old Yogg would be blessing for wild. Pro Yogg!
I pre-ordered last week. I'm happy that the powercreep-time seems to have an end. No turn 3 16/12 stats anymore. Unfortunately, not all classes have the same potential so far.
Paladin is a fast class, with small minions, which flood the whole board as long as no aoe spell comes around . In OTK you wanna save one or two horseriders. Rebuke can destroy a whole turn of spell hunter or exodia mage for 2 mana. I think it's better than Loatheb, cause paladin don't need a 5/5 Body and has 3 mana for drawing cards.
Wispering Woods is playable in a Big Druid with Sea Giant or in a token druid as well, which is still standard with penguin instead of patches.
I hated the druid combo, but loved Ancient of Lore. But I really miss the times, where vanilla yeti was still a good value card and turn 7-8 lethal was called "aggro".
Malygos Shaman is only played in wild, of course, but it is more a meme deck and not strong enough to compete. Secret Pally was long time T1 in wild, but now it seems too weak, cause call to arms gives a huge minion push, and there's less deckspace for secrets. And in control matchups you get outvalued by voidlords, DK Anduin and plague.
But you're totally right with your prediction to the next rotation. There will be huge differences, cause kaza/raza/reno priests will all move to wild. Don't think, that anyone will dust the core cards and still play the deck in wild.

Why to pre-order? I only need 1600 dust for the new expansion.

Blizzard, what have you done...
2 mana 1/5 with tribe. Do you understand your game??? Have you ever played against anybody else than innkeeper???

Rebuke tier 2.5?
Wispering Woods tier 3?
Serious? Are we playing the same game?

IMHO, these two cards are metabreakers.
