To take it 1 step further, if I were a competitive player and had the opportunity to hack the HS servers to gain an unfair advantage (whether it be to see my opponent's hand or to manipulate the RNG) and thought I had a reasonably high chance to get away with it, I would do it in a heartbeat. Even though sniping a delayed stream is a fairly small advantage, it's really no surprise someone took advantage of it when there's money to be gained by doing so.
And I doubt this is the first time someone stream sniped a streamed tournament. How many times do you think it's happened and the person never got caught?
Don't know if anyone has mentioned this(read first 3 pages), but with how the card reads, you'll need all minions with the listed cost in your deck for this card to get you any minions so you'll need at least 2 of each 7,8,9 and 10 costed minions in the deck list to have it consistently proc. With that said, the decks this goes into may end up being clunky and getting destroyed by aggressive builds.
You don't have to utilize the value of the card fully. You just have to draw what you need.
Exactly, for togwaggle druid this card basically reads "Win the game next turn" (assuming you have 9 mana the turn it's played)
Could they not make the nerfs so boring? The current dreadsteed is just lame. It's a worse version of Moroes! Dreadsteed was magical for being a body you can kill and resummon multiple times in one turn. How about this: it only resummons after defile is finished doing its clearing. So when defile stops casting, ONLY THEN does it get summoned, and then the turn continues. Boom! Doesn't get weaker, and the broken interaction is gone.
I don't know how to fix shadowboxer but their nerf is garbage. "Lifesteal combo? oH, ummm, yeah no you can't do that." Lifesteal was one of the best things to happen to heal-synergy cards in a while.
Moroes can be removed with any AOE, dreadsteed has to be silenced to be removed. And dreadsteed never saw any real play either.
Shadowboxer + Zillax is a 7 mana reno that also damages for whatever it heals. You don't see a problem with that?
They're nerfing a card that doesn't currently see any play because there'll be problematic interactions. The card will continue to see no play, and would've only potentially seen play because of a broken interaction...
It reminds me of the interaction between Tunnel Trogg and overload back in the heyday of aggro shaman. A mechanic that's supposed to be a downside suddenly becomes an upside. I can't even count the number of games I've won because lava burst and lightning bolt was 7 and 4 damage because I had a trogg on board.
Dark pact is supposed to have a downside by destroying an own minion, NOT an upside in exchange for such a powerful heal. It should read "Silence and then destroy a friendly minion, restore 8 health to your hero."
The issue dark pact currently causes is it makes it so you can't interact with lackeys and cubes since they're destroyed the same turn they're played. Without dark pact being able to trigger the deathrattles, the opponent has an opportunity to silence the minion, or just avoid destroying the minion for a while.
If anything you should spend more on the first expansion after rotation, and the least on the last expansion of the year, since the first one stays in standard the longest.
I would expect a REALLY bad statted 10 drop with Witchwood. Blizz know Spiteful Summoner is a problem, and will be looking for a way to make it backfire. I'd like to see a couple of 10 mana minions with stupidly powerful battlecries and trash stats in the next expansion personally. Failing that, a severely negative deathrattle. Something along the lines of a 20/20 with "Deathrattle: Destroy all your Mana Crystals".
I really hate shit like that though. Making the card have even MORE RNG doesn't seem like a good solution. Something like the 20/20 you gave basically turns the match into, remove this and win, otherwise lose next turn, which is utterly retarded.
If it needs to be nerfed it should be nerfed, not add cards to make it so people randomly get screwed by it.

Just what you need for glinda + mechwarper + magnetic OTK.

It's playable in Even Paladin right now, which btw is the top deck at the moment.
There's other 8 drop options for this deck (like lich king), but tirion is a pretty solid choice for the slot.

The real issue here is dark pact.

Definitely worth crafting. It will be meta defining for the next 2 years
Even paladin is the best deck in standard right now, even shaman is T1 in wild.
