I mean, the only valid argument you could try to make here is if you crafted a card for even/odd decks and now it cant be used because the mana cost is now something else, so technically that's a nerf.
Refunds have always been for when a card's reduced in strength, or HOF. We're not getting refunds for these 18 cards, as nice as that would be.
I think the quantity of buffs is fine, most of the buffed cards are still terrible, so it's not going to shake up the meta that much. Like storm bringer is still shit (though that could work for even shaman in wild), Flark's boom zooka is still awful since it just doesn't fit into a hunter deck.
And some of the ones that are decent now don't have support for them. Like extra arms is decent, but doesn't really fit into a priest deck.
Other buffs really only affect discovers, like the warrior mech upgrades, and expected results. Now those are decent discovers but would still never make it into a list.
A nerf to snip snap shortly after it's released isn't out of the question. Since it's uncraftable we're not getting refunds so it's not like they'll have an issue with giving 3200 dust to everyone for free.
With 2 dead ringers, drawing both reckless and snip snap becomes a lot more consistent than you might think, and with explodinator and coppertail available, it's not that hard to get a mech to stick. Throw in some aggro and board control cards, and it'll be even more likely that a mech sticks around for turn 5.
If you type in Zayle into your collection search, it says you don't have this card, check it out in crafting. But if you go to crafting it doesn't exist there yet either
When people avoid a certain archetype because of intolerably long games it's an issue because the lack of those decks makes it so aggro can roam free.
Also I don't mind games that are a bit on the longer side. I've been playing a lot of boomship warrior, which by definition in order for me to win I need to get to fatigue. I like it since it's pretty heavy on control which lets me beat the large number of rogues, yet has a definitive win condition by the time my deck is completely drawn so games don't go on too long against other control players.
i just autoconcede warrior mirrors, aint nobody got time for that. also eventually it comes to elysiana RNG, so its pointless.
luckily i still farm rogues and every other deck out there
And that's a huge issue. You're not alone in doing this either. This basically means you'll never rank up since your winrate goes down quite a bit because of that. This results in control warriors staying at the rank floor (or dumpster legend), which results in a flood of aggro rogue at the higher levels.
Not to mention, cards like baleful or youthful are crap against aggro, so the fact people are making their decks greedier vs other control mirrors makes their decks slightly worse against aggro.
I think one great change would be if Elysiana's battlecry was:
Discover 5 cards, replace your deck with 2 copies of each, transform into a 7/7 (with no text)
One of the issues right now is playing control decks is such a suffer due to the lists that include ways to bounce / duplicate elysiana. 10 cards more isn't terrible, but when it's 20 or 30 cards more that's just ridiculous. I've even seen a game hit the turn limit because of elysiana (90 minute game to end in a draw).
I completely stopped playing typical control decks as a result of this type of play, and so have many other people. Because of this aggro decks run into less bad matchups and get higher winrates as a result. I'm not saying other changes aren't needed as well, but limiting the amount that elysiana can extend the game would be a great improvement.
Yeah, I only saw 19 of the 30 cards, so the only thing I know for sure is his deck revolves around either drawing most or all of his deck.
And the only combo decks I know of in standard for paladin now is holy wrath. It could also be a chef nomi deck but that doesn't make sense since unlike priest who has seance (I actually played against one of those today, clearing 3 waves of chef nomi.. whew, that's rough), 1 wave of 6/6s with an empty deck is a pretty crappy win condition. Mechathun paladin doesn't make sense since he has no way of removing it.
This match was played at high legend (my opponent's rank was 100 something) and I'm trying to figure out what his deck was (he's the paladin). My best guess is holy wrath paladin, but based on the rank that this game was at, there's very few meme decks in these games, and holy wrath paladin has a terrible winrate.

Galvanizer has no place in this discussion btw, the effect only applies to the first time it's played.

Are you kidding me? If anything this is an overnerf. Tempo/Pirate rogue is done after these nerfs.

Archivist + baleful is actually an issue. If that combo wasn't possible then mirror matches would be a little less painful to play.

My guess on the last 11 cards is:
1. Wild Pyro
2. Acolyte
3. Consecration
4. Truesilver
5/6. equality or shrink ray
7. Shirvalla
8/9. baleful
10/11. holy wrath
But that seems like such an awful deck...

There's no more even/odd decks in standard after the new expansion.
