Oh, that reminds me: I don't run Geist. Doesn't really see what it is targeting. only Deathrattle Hunter, Taunt Druid and Even Warrior, but those aren't really common matchups for me. And the card is pretty much nothing anywhere else. Do you think It's winnable without Geist?
Even warrior. Lmao. But seriously just bait out shield slams with drakes and beat him to death with mountain giants. Dont over commit and mulligan for threats and geist. Force him to waste hid resources and bleed him out until a threat sticks
Baiting Shield Slam Might work if I draw drakes before giants. I'll try that, but overall I feel like a drake is not enough pressure, and he just trades it away. Oh, and should I mostly go face, or is it too risky to leave a mech on board and letting him magnetise it?
How do you win this matchup as Evenlock? HSReaplay says it's close to 50-50, but I'm just not seeing it. Whatever I do as Warlock, it seems like Warrior always has an answer. You play big boards? Brawl, Reckless Flurry. You're done. Play just two big minions Supercollider, and then you can't really take the board at all. Play one big minion at a time? It's dead to Shield Slam, and they just contest the board, build like 30 armour, and you're not getting anything. I played this matchup 4 times, in it wasn't even close. They win on value easily every time, without breaking a sweat. But the data is saying this is an even matchup. The data does not lie.
So... Am I missing something? I think I pilot the deck pretty good overall. Climbed from 10 to 4 with a 63% winrate. But there got to be something. I have a gameplan against pretty much anything, even if the matchup is very hard. But Even Warrior? nothing.
Edit: Even Warrior, of course. my bad. Edit 2: no geist for me.
/This could be a 4/4 of a 10/10 on random. Just the worst kind of RNG. Might be strong, but this is just terrible design. People will get super salty when their opponent drops a 9/10 on turn 5.
Pretty much the same as Fencing Coach, but worse, because with that card you had the possibility to use the discount next turn with some combo, and that wasn't enough, Fencing Coach saw no play. This card just doesn't do anything.
Playable in arena as a 2 drop for some classes. (rogue, paladin, warlock, maybe shaman)
In the murloc tavern brawl just a week ago I had a board of like 5 murlocs including a Megafin and a warleader, lethal on board by like 15 damage, he had a stealthed Finja and I believe just 1 or 2 cards in hand. He attacked with Finja into a small murloc, got Old Murk-Eye and a murloc knight, hero power: got another Old Murk-Eye! went face for like 20 something damage, killing me.
It was tavern brawl, so I was honestly just amused. If that was constructed or arena I would probably smash something in my room XD
The only question that no one who raises this conspiracy can answer is: why? Why the hell would Blizzard decide to queue some people against bad matchups, while giving their opponents good matchups? Do they track each player, and at some point put you on a red list of people who will get bad matchups? And that's because... reasons! Blizzard are evil!

Wait, do you not draw another card when drawing this? Does it take your draw?

Conclusion: stop whining and start winning.

Does Overkill work even if the attacking minion dies?
