Since they sold hearthpwn they put 0 effort on it.
At this point let's forget it exists. If they update it it will be a surprise
Number 1 with miles away from the rest is a hunter. Raza plus Anduin was 2 cards 13 mana combo and is still one of the best wild decks. This quest is easy to achieve with 2 rapid fires and 2 other spells, but I am not sure if the hunter has the tools to survive the early game, if it goes for spell hunter, but probably it will bring hunter from the worst class to a decent one.
Number 2 is shaman.... that can get INSANE and in wild there is a ncie amount of cheap overload spells to make it easy to accomplish and have crazy burn after.
number 3 is warrior. Still not sure if it fits the traditional pirate warior, missing a turn 1 play vs agro match up is a death sentence, but is a good tech card on a slower meta.
the rest looks like hot garbadge in wild, too slow or require too many steps to accomplish, like mage really?
first in naxxramas meta i build a taunt druid that had a 60% winrate vs undertaker hunter but a 40% against everything else. I made it to legend in 15 days ( and that is back when you needed to grind from 0 with no star bonus or floors).
Now i can get to day 1 legend with any deck. this month it was anyfing paladin, last month agro murloc, the month before DMH (could not play day 1-2 so it was day 3)
I arrived to finish in the leaderboard in May. In june with 11 stars bonus i play an ultra emme deck. All legendarys with cho, millhouse etc. Surprisingly it had a 38% winrate at the 11 stars bonus and all the way it was decent meta decks. At the end from rank 3 3 stars I played a few meta decks and got to legend. Once in legend I was loooow and mostly fought meme decks and was conceding against any rank 1 diamond i faced. Tanked up to 6k in Eu at the end of the season. It took me a few months to recover my old mmr. A surprising thing is that at high legend you see a LOT of deck variety as a lot of people are exploring ways of how to beat the meta, having more fun at high legend than low one were is only net decks.
End of the story, play meta decks to get into legend and then tank your MMR/ push for high legend and then have fun.
Anyfin is ALIVE! The deck is still viable gotten with it to legend 10 with it this month!
I am glad i can keep on using it for next few years (even when it becomes bad)
Biggest regret was crafting some GVG cards in golden that never saw play like Anubrak (loved the infinite value) and prince gallawix (understated the value of coins back then).
Recently I regret a lot crafting Zuljin and Sadge in golden. The decks i tryed for zuljin did not work well at all, so a bit sad (maxima tonk hunter) and Reno secret mage was too boring . so 6400 dust wasted. Zuljin might be used one day, Sadge maybe too.
Secret mage is a problem especially on the low ranks, there are much better decks out there like darkglare and odd rogue. Personally only saw 3 palyers playing secret mage last month out of the 30 players I fought over 100-150 games.
But it can be very annoying to face constantly, so maybe a nerf will be needed. the change to lackey will tone down his power a lot as they can not so easily deal with agro with a flackmage + lackey on turn 4.
no, this is support for Anyfin Paladin.
Wild players wanted this. Blizzard acted. How is this not good? This will change nothing other than keeping Anyfin Paladin as a deck. Quest Rogue is not good enough in wild. The best Aggro decks all completely destroy it.
Why they do this shit of letting streamers create and test decks for a week and ruin the fun for the other players? Does my money worth less than theirs or something? I used to play a lot and i really loved this early days of the expansion when everyone was playing everything, trying new decks, playing fun decks. Nowadays you play vs netdecking since day 1. I never bhough any more packs since they started doing this and almost left Hearthstone because of it. I just do not feel compeled to play netdecking 100% of the time...
Pre-release week SUCKS
Can your deck kill some 1/1s?
Fill their spaghetti graveyard with 1/1s on turn 4.
And if your answer is that this card is bad and isn't worth a slot in your deck, then res priest isn't as big of a problem as you are indicating it is.
Not quitting before i spent £1,500+ on the game
A lot of people in this thread don't seem to understand OP's initial complaint, or even understand what's going on, so allow me to explain.
Firstly, the old Ysera is not being removed from the game, or buffed into the new Ysera, it is being moved to the legacy set. The new Ysera card is a completely new card.
Dream now costs 1, and can only target enemy minions, Nightmare now gives +4/+4 instead of +5/+5, Ysera Awakens now costs 3, and only affects minions, Laughing Sister now costs 2, and Emerald Drake is unchanged.
3 of these 4 changes are very clearly nerfs, making the original Ysera much worse than before, which should be considered a nerf to Ysera.
It does not matter that this Ysera is rotating to Wild, it is still a nerf, and players who own Ysera should be able to disenchant it for full dust value.
