rockbiter being 1 mana was balanced because it was conditional... you either needed a minion on board, or you had to take face damage. if you had no minions on the board but had a weapon out, you couldn't hit one thing with your equipped weapon and rockbiter something else.
rockbiter was obviously an efficient card, but it was conditional. now its strictly worse than every other "deal 3 damage" card in the game, like frostbolt, quickshot, darkbomb. you'll never see rockbiter for control/removal purposes again, but it will still be a good burst tool with doomhammer. however, you can no longer double rockbiter your al'akir
not a big fan of this nerf, figured changing doomhammer made more sense. the card will still be used in aggro decks for 6 damage, but is dead for removal purposes
i think elemental destruction is a little ambitious. i get the idea with volcanic drakes, but ele destruction wipes your own board, which is better for control shaman than midrange shaman
not a fan. its a targetable flamecannon with overload punishment. flamecannon can be "rigged" or "aimed" most of the time anyway. this can only see play in a super control heavy deck, and even then i think its pretty average. respectable with hallazeal, but same can be said for any damage spell...

i've never seen this played for anything less than a 5/5

doomcaller is the most overrated card on this list

Stormcrack is to Shadow Bolt as Lightning Bolt is to Darkbomb
It should be noted that Darkbomb was always good, and Shadow Bolt was always mediocre

Turn 4 Fireguard Destroyer
Turn 5 Flamewreathed Faceless
that's a pretty big mountain of stats for anybody to deal with. also, this is a common, so arena shaman got a nice boost
