Not really the greatest, but they could have been a lot worse. I also got 3 golden epics so that's almost enough for another legendary on its own if I wanted.
I'm pretty happy with the turnout to be honest. I didn't get any crazy legendaries but they weren't awful for the most part and I got 3 golden epics which I won't have a problem Disenchanting.
This seems like an alright card, but I probably won't use it. I ended up taking Emperor Thaurissan out of my deck because I never felt that the mana reduction made a huge difference for me when playing priest. I'll be very interested to see how people use this card.
This is pretty useless. I'd much rather have a zombie chow in my deck instead. If the stats were buffed (like 3/4 or 4/4) then it would be a lot better, but the extra health doesn't make it worth the drawback when even compared to something like River Crocolisk. To make matters even worse, there are 2/3 minions with benefits
How does she interact with Shadow Madness? If I steal her will she get divine shield?
I would imagine it wouldn't get the divine shield since she doesn't belong to you until the spell takes effect and is no longer targeted by you. If it said "after you cast a spell" then it would trigger like Wild Pyromancer.
I wouldn't call it impossible; just that you'd have to approach the problem differently. In my opinion heroic shouldn't be beatable with just basic and rare cards since that would make it too easy. I've only spent $15 on hearthstone (Naxx snuck up on me so I didn't have time to save for all the wings) so I only have one lightbomb and never ended up using sylvanas that game. Common cards like Force-Tank Max and Mind Control are still super good in this fight and I'm sure there are other less rare cards that are extremely good as well.
I'd give the community a day at most to come up with a deck that isn't insanely expensive that can beat this boss.
I used Kel'Thuzad to help keep my board full. I lucked out on my start though since he played sprint on his first two turns so I used mind control on the minion that he played after. It took me a couple of tries but it isn't too bad as long as you don't get screwed early on with something like a kidnapper.
I found cards like Kel'Thuzad, Sylvanas, Mind Control, Force-Tank Max, and Lightbomb to be really helpful with keeping your side of the board in control. You just have to hope that the AI is dumb and doesn't kill Kel'Thuzad.
I found the second wing to be CONSIDERABLY easier than the first. I don't look at the wings ahead of time so I lost to Garr the first time on normal but I beat Baron and Rag on my first try. I also beat Garr and Rag on heroic my first try. I did find Baron to be a pretty big challenge though since it took me like 5 or 6 auto concedes till I got a good curve on heroic. That being said, I found the second wing to be a lot more of a puzzle compared to random luck like the first wing was and therefore a lot more fun. I spent roughly an hour and a half to 100% complete this wing and it took roughly 2.5 hours to beat the first wing with a lot more hair pulling.
FYI, Hearthstone just tweeted that it won't be going live at midnight for the US and for us to get some sleep. They didn't specify what time still and I'm hoping that it's a last minute April fools day joke. I don't understand why they won't give a release time unless they're trying to get as few people to hop on the servers at the exact opening time as possible to help alleviate lag.

I'd say he is only useful if you can get taunt on him. Otherwise he can just be ignored and die without anyone actually attacking him.

Eadric the Pure, Anub'arak, and Icehowl

I got Icehowl for my first. It could have been worse.

Alright, here's the stats for my 50 packs:
Common: 185 (3 golden)
Rare: 52 (3 golden)
Epic: 10 (3 golden (I wish this theme continued) Lock and Load, Dreadsteed, Dark Bargain)
Legendary: 3 (Eadric the Pure, Anub'arak, and Icehowl)
I had 7 rares and 87 commons to DE which totaled 575.
My most common cards were Warhorse Trainer, Bolster, and Clockwork Knight at 7 each.
I'm pretty happy with the turnout to be honest. I didn't get any crazy legendaries but they weren't awful for the most part and I got 3 golden epics which I won't have a problem Disenchanting.

I'm glad to see the top rank for the chest will be 5. I feel like that's a fair difficulty instead of having another one if you get to legend.

I REALLY want to try this out. Turn 9 here I come!

So does this effect The minions in your deck as well (for jousting), or is the cost only reduced when the minion gets in your hand?

It's probably a problem with the latter. I was successful roughly an hour ago.
