Probably the most important thing to know realize about freeze mage (and playing in general) is that the only hit point that matters is the last one.
Yeah, you could doomsayer that warlock's board of five 1/x minions. OR you could wait a turn and get his sea giant and whatever else, too. Sometimes the right play is ping and pass.
Use Wrynn Craft: Justicar Ysera Grommash pick one of Alex/Geddon/Saraad- there are different reasons for each. Alex is expensive to cast, but has impact, doesn't synergize with Wrynn, but worst case you get an 8/8. Geddon is situational, but 7/5 is still scary. Saraad is removal bait but can sometimes win you the game from nowhere. Then throw in Emp T.
It's fun because it requires a little more thought than a lot of decks. If you're used to midrange and having to choose between Aggro and Control, the transition shouldn't be too rough.
It's a lot like the SAT- it's about choosing the best answer, not just an answer. The guide above discusses a bit how to use the most efficient removal, for example.
I'm not sure how I feel about this version overall. Saraad is a good inclusion, I think. The frothing berserker seems utterly out of place, though. I've been thinking about Rafaam instead of Alex.
Playing something similar. Have only gotten to play the golden monkey once, but I already killed them with Fatigue. : ( Prep is def worth having for faster vanishes, if you need them.
I run Harrison Jones pretty much all the time now. Not sure about dropping a belcher for it - they're useful in the same matchups (new Aggro Shaman, Face hunter, allpally)
Going back to Sylvanas isn't a terrible idea, but I find lately she just doesn't find the value. I might consider Mind Control Tech, in which case you could hold onto Brann, Maybe. (I don't know what the behavior is if they have four minions when you drop it. Probably nothing?
Another Keep-Brann option might be Antique Healbot. The idea of control warrior has classically been that your HP doesn't matter if you have all the armor, but you know, it never hurts.
Abomination acts like a poor man's Sludge belcher, and does an okay job vs aggro.
Hmm. I might go -Brann, - Juggernaut, +MCT, + Garrison Commander. if you can keep that guy around after playing justicar trueheart, your opponent is going to have a bad time.

I was really thinking about coldlights. glad someone thought the same.

What do you think about -1 Rafaam +1 Deathwing?
He acts as a reliable board clear, when you're likely either winning and don't need him or you're not winning and out of answers.
He has immediate impact, where Rafaam sometimes just lets you do something while you wait to die.
And sometimes, just sometimes, Wrynn drops a 12/12 for you for free.
Of course, there's something to be said for cutting Wrynn instead, since he frequently disagrees with the rest of the deck, and they cost the same.

Alex almost always does something. Ysera has a tendency to be a "win More" card, but she can definitely turn a game around on 50% of her draws.
Personally, Ysera is more fun, but Alex more useful.

Use Wrynn
Craft:
Justicar
Ysera
Grommash

Good to see the ol' KT+Taunt bug is still around. if you play your Animated Armor with a mukla banana, he'll generally leave them alone.

If anything, I might cut Saraad?

(No but really this deck is hilarious and I love it)

Please make this deck more popular than secret pally. My control warrior loves this.

Playing Highlander Control Warrior vs Secretdin. Not a great matchup for me, and I'm not behind, but I'm not in a great spot.
Stuff happens, he's at 20hp, and I'm at about 15, and I'm staring at what is probably lethal next turn if I don't draw an answer, preferably Geddon.
I don't pull the draw, and I watch him play his whole hand, despite not needing to, ending with Divine Favor. I've got nine cards in hand.
Here's the thing, though.
about six turns previous, I'd played Iron Juggernaut with Brann on board.
the "Well Played" after he blew himself up was one of the most satisfying of my time playing Hearthstone.

There are some pretty good Faceless Manipulator targets out there.

hope this kind of helps?
