This seems a bit over the top. Druid is already in a strong position, like did Blizzard really need to make this card for them?

An interesting design. It may be played in certain combo decks or even a weird tempo deck. Certainly not game breaking.

DH already has a better Silence card and it doesn't cost 3 mana. And it may draw a card. And it rarely saw play. This card will see play at Bronze and that's about it.

They already have an actual good disruption card. It's called Glide, this card is bad.

4 mana 4/3 in DH. Nope.

About time DH got a bad card!

I think the 2 overload pushes this card near the "unlikely to see play" zone.

Craziest anti-control card I've ever seen. This will get the nerf hammer IMMEDIATELY after it becomes an autoconcede by control decks....

So Diligent Notetaker and Lightning Bolt is a 2 card 24 damage turn 10 combo? Oh boy....

Also Wretched Tutor looks nuts as anti-aggro and it's neutral! Jesus!

DQ Alex needed a nerf! This takes down the power level quite a bit, but doesn't solve the problem. Still a really strong card.

Rogue Galakrond is nerfed SIGNIFICANTLY! This almost makes the current deck worse with the chance of drawing any of the o or 1 cost cards in the deck. Deck was tier 2 at best and now it looks like Rogue will become the new Shaman.

Druid will be perfectly fine. Fungal on 3 is slightly worse as the filthy Druids will no longer be able to coin or innervate out Overgrowth on 3, but this isn't a significant enough nerf for a class that is essentially a Mulligan win deck. If you get Fungal and Overgrowth in your opening hand you nearly always win. It is a deck that if the Druid gets to 7 mana (usually turn 4 or 5 BTW) most decks just lose.

The Dragoncaster nerf is not needed. They should just get rid of Puzzle Box. It is an unfun random garbage card that can be equally aggravating for the opponent and even the caster if it mills you to death. The card sucks!

The Corsair Cache nerf is also not that significant. It is effectively removing 3 total damage with the greatest effect coming with the weapon being able to deal with early 3 health minions. But Warrior can still Reno themselves to full health anyway. So they still get the draws and/or resources from the weapons.

The nerfs to Demon Hunter seem like a lot especially the Warglaives nerf. Warglaives to 6 may just be too much. But then again, I thought DH was done after the last round of nerfs and they were still ridiculous. So well see.

The Coin, specifically the one received for starting 2nd, not a spell. It's a mechanical addon, not a tech card.

Discover can't find legendaries unless specified, that'd solve most issues with it. The mechanic is otherwise fine as is.

An option to cut out animation time, especially with galakronds', e.g. it takes 10 seconds to resolve a Time Rip - makes no sense.

And squelch ALL game sounds from menu other than a live opponent's emotes (the latter can remain squelch by hand).

I think The Coin change is great! It really shouldn't give sooooo much synergy in certain matchups. That is a simple change and makes a lot of sense. Therefore it won't happen :)

I think the only change to Discover should be to minimize the variance with any discover pool. It's not a matter of Legendaries IMHO, it is that you have cards that are 1 mana 1/1's that can discover a card that does basically nothing or one that just wins a game outright. That kind of thing shouldn't happen as it creates a horrible play experience for the recipient of the loss. You play the whole game only to lose against a random power spike that you couldn't have predicted.

Personally for me, the only animation that should change is that while it is your turn, your opponents secrets animations should pause your clock. I hate trying to play around a christmas tree only to get screwed by the OPPONENTS animations. If I get screwed by my own animations, I can deal with that, but christmas trees can be very complicated plays that you need to really think about and you shouldn't have to worry about the opponents animations messing up your turn.

Unfortunately, we already know that a squelch option will never happen....

As far as a change I'd like to see, I'd love to see a "Seasons" game mode, where people get to play decks from past seasons that are just randomly chosen each month. All players would have access to all cards from that season and any nerfs/buffs would be reverted so nostalgic players would get to play some of their favorite old decks.

It comforts me that i'm not the only one strugglin at D2/D3 :) Clearly I'm not a champion in playing HS but it was weird that my winrate dropped from 62/63 % to nearly 50% in that range. I checked HSreplay, Vicious Syndacate but one thing it the deck, another thing is to make right play at the right time. And with this close meta a wrong choice (Rotnest Drake or Glaivebound Adept with a suboptimal target) can cost you a lose.

It is not weird to see your winrate drop when you are nearing Legend. It is not weird at all and in fact it is too be EXPECTED!. You are playing BETTER players. I typically get to D5 with around a 70-90% winrate and then it drops off SIGNIFICANTLY.

Just stick with 1 deck and up your playing time. But don't play if you're tilted as you will most likely misplay more often. You also need to be very critical of your plays and really look into whether you are making any significant misplays or incorrect mulligan choices. Good luck.

posted a message on Discover Card

I'm fine with the Discover mechanic, but it should be used FAR less frequently then it currently is. And I disagree with what someone stated earlier about the size of the Discover pool. I think the Discover pools should be limited to only a few cards and NOT a huge pool of options with such varying strengths as the difference between discovering Fairy Dragon and DQ Alex is game winning/losing after playing a 20 minute game.

So they should limit/control the Discover card pools better and create less Discover cards. Then the mechanic will be fine.

    Quote from user-31021151 >>

No need to rely on random RNG to save you. You had guaranteed lethal.

Weapon hit + Warmaul Challenger to get rid of the taunt. (6 mana left)

Then just rush lackey (1 mana) + Rampage (2 mana) + Mercenary (3 mana) on the Bloodboil for two 10/9. 20 Damage to face right there.

Bloodboil isn't charge so copy wouldn't hit face.
