A split 6/5 for 4 mana with 4/2 of that being rush and 2/3 taunt. Yeah, dust it!

posted a message on BGrounds: Make Spawns Deal Half Damage!!!

@Devilseye, yes, I realize how the minion drops work in BGs. The point I was making is basically the point you just stated. I'm not talking about sniping a Baron, but taking a massive amount of damage because you were strong enough to kill off that last minion and Baron pops outs 4 5 mana minions instead of one.

That is basically the point of this thread. All I'm saying is that RNG is part of BGs. This includes the random minion drops and how much damage you take from them.

Yes, it would be great to not take 4 damage from Toxfin when it pops out of a shredder, but that is just the game.

Ehhhh... It's kind of just part of the game. A board full of 120/120 Wrath Weavers and 150/150 Floating Watchers hits for 8 damage, yet getting 1 loss to a Baron Rivendare combo deals 27 if you die while killing the wrong minion. Token spawns are annoying based off that variance of damage, but it is what it is I guess...

The tier list was not really very 'accurate' anyway. Even 2 months ago when the list was first posted, the details in them didn't accurately portray which is the strongest hero. This is because the strength of each hero varies greatly by what MMR the player is at. So because lower level players didn't know how to use Dancin' Deryl, he is at 12th on this list even though he is arguably the strongest hero in the game.

So unless they get far more detailed to show hero percentages at different MMR categories, this will be a blurry picture of actual hero strengths.

posted a message on New Neutral Card - Boompistol Bully

I think this card will turn the game into a flipping coin and the winner will be whoever plays this card first.

They should have made him to instead, prevent cards from triggering their Battlecries as long as the minion is in play or for one turn. That way, at least you get to play your minion.

Aggro decks will definitely run 2 copies of this.

This comment should have many more +1's!

Aggro matchups can easily be won by whoever plays this card 1st....

posted a message on How hard is it to hit legend nowadays?

Agree with some here. Legend isn't just a matter of time. PERIOD! People keep stating this average winrate of 51% yadda, yadda, yadda... It doesn't work that way. Winrates fluctuate, so just be aware of that.

    1. Get in the right mindframe - you WILL lose games so be prepared to handle that. You may get to a point where you need one more win and you lose. That is just kind of the way it goes and you need to be mentally prepared and not get discouraged.

    2. Play the same deck if possible. You will learn what is weak and strong for the deck and the decks you face the most. Those little nuances can turn a loss into a win in enough cases to make it worth while.

    3. Watch a streamer play your deck if you can. They will usually know the deck very well and you can learn very fast on how to play each meta matchup.

    4. Get ready for the grind - it does take a LOT of games, so try to set some kind of game plan of how many games or stars you want to gain each day and it also helps to play for like an entire day (if you can). This way you will remember certain tactics more easily as they will be fresh in your mind.

    Good Luck

posted a message on High rolls or bust

The transition to uber-demon composition happens just too fast is really the issue. Your ending composition is basically decided by Tier 3, where as EVERY other comp HAS to level to at least Tier 5 to even be relevant end-game. That is basically around ~16 or so gold that any other comp has to spend leveling, while it's 16 gold to search and buy demons...

Can't wait until they finally add Dragons into the game! We need a change.

    Quote from uaeviai >>

I take it that these are assuming that nobody has bought any minions yet and everything is equally available? If so, these can't really be applied during a real match and the odds are always changing based on the current pool of minions available.

Obviously, this is for general information.

posted a message on New Neutral Card - Licensed Adventurer

Well, I tried using this in a Quest Druid and it was SEVERELY lackluster. It is great if you have it in your mulligan and/or if you draw into it in your 1st few turn, but it is such a painful mid to late game draw that I removed it immediately. As somebody has already said, Questing Adventurer would be a better card and that never saw play in Quest Druid for a reason. You are trying to get your quest  complete as fast as possible and this doesn't really help in that sense. And Druid has Innervate already, so if you need mana cheat, just use that. This was disappointing at best.
