Like some people knew dudepala would fail and said Stand Against Darkness or Vinecleaver would be bad. I think the deck need just more refinement and if it gets more support next expansion it will be top tier
It's a pity no good mage deck is posted. I tried to build a few "handmage" decks with Mountain Giant, Archmage Arugal and Book of Specters. Thought it would be good. turned out it really sucks to have no spells and a full hand
I wouldn't tech in Deathweb Spider. Cubelock has an easy time beating most of the decks exept Bakuhunter where you really need the heals before turn 5 and you heal only for 3 (5-2 because you need to activate the battlecry) on turn 7. I think thats way to slow . I also put in 2 Stonehill Defender. its nice to stop early aggression and may give you a turn 4 taunt or more value against control decks. I would't cut the Faceless Manipulator because its a very flexible card and good in most matchups. It can help you copying a Voidlord against aggro, giving you lethal with Doomguard or copying [card]mountain giant[/card in mirrormatches which you couldn't answer otherwise.
I had s similar idea to make a zoo mage because you have insane draw with Book of Specters and Archmage Arugal but my experience was that Warlock and shaman are really bad matchups and other aggro decks easy outtempo you. but maybe it could work and this deck just need a little more refining
I saw disguisedtoasts stream yesterday and he had a over 90% winrate(he lost just 3 matches in the climb) with his deck. Even in matches against aggro he was favorite. He did play from rank 5 to legend. He said a good counter would be a midrange/tempo deck. But we will see. I think this shaman OTK deck is pretty lame and not much fun
you just have mulligan hard for Mountain Giant to go for early pressure. I would play Spiritsinger Umbra to have OTK potential so you can end the game if you draw you combo first which is more likely because their deck does nothing except for stalling and you can tap every turn
I have tried to figure out the weakness of this deck but it seems pretty solid in theory. the only bad matchup is maybe some tempo deck which snowballs you in the earlygame? i think i will try it if the expansion goes live
I replaced 1 Lay on Hands and Val'anyr for 2 Blackguard but it didnt change anything :D The overall perfomance of the deck is not really good in this meta. Against cube its an autoloss and against most priest decks too. Murloc paladin just kills you on turn 5. if witchwood is up and the meta changes it could be ok. Anyway its fun to play in casual
or sometimes it doesnt deal enough dmg because you didnt loose enough health. but i think its still good. you just have to attack a lot with your weapons so you loose health.
I dont think your changes are good. In mirrors you will loose if they play Mountain Giant and you play Tar Creeper. Also the giants are very good against priest and controlmage. the replay is against jadedruid which is an autowin most of the time for cubelock. In this matchup the giants are also way better. in aggro matchups there are enough options to stall till you can play or cheat out the Voidlord. i find the Tar Creeper too much. Just play controlwarlock if you have trouble against aggro. Zola the Gorgon is just a tech card against other warlocks in my opinion and could also be replaced with Spiritsinger Umbra or Prince Taldaram. Mortal Coil should be replaced with better options like silence or weapon removal. on what rank were you playing and how many matches? i dont understand how you can get a 73% winrate by making the deck worse.
im not sure if this card is really good. i think most of the time the lifesteal effekt will be meaningless because you dont loose that much health on turn 3. (assuming warlock(cube) and priest will be the top tier classes and the meta will be more control heavy) Also you have a few good 3 drops which you could also play in paladin. Stonehill Defender , Tar Creeper or aldor peackeeper against potential Mountain Giant or other big minions. Also you have Benevolent Djinn which is also a 3 drop and you might want to play it because of the elemental tag. i really hope a midrange paladin without murloc will work. nice artwork thou
i think its not worth to cut Arcanologist . you will need your secret to survive till you get your combo and if you face aggro its also way to slow. on turn 4 you might be already to low to play a 3/3 and only draw a card from you deck. murloc pala or zoo kills you then. i think this might be good in control warrior with much spells and a few big minions

Maybe change Sunfury Protector for Defender of Argus? i found that Sunfury Protector was mostly a dead or low impact card unless i could taunt a giant

Is there a place forBlackguard in this deck? i think it fits very well with the healing theme
