posted a message on I have pretty close to a 100% loss rate

I would say learn what cards do and what cards are good. For instance, glimmerroot is "started in your opponents DECK" not hand. Generally it is quite easy to guess since every class has its auto includes. You shouldn't run bad cards like raid leader, especially not in a deck with greater healing potion. One of those cards is for control decks, the only one is just bad.

It seems like you're trying to make a deck that didn't for priests identity. Earthen Ring Farseer is more of a control card which also doesn't for your deck archetype. I would look into playing hunter, it is very F2P friendly and uses mostly basic/classic cards and only a few expansion cards with Deathstalker Rexxar being the only non common/rare

for me, it is Brann shadow caster rogue

You mind giving me a quick rundown on how that works?
Dane has a lot of youtube clips of this. its generally, brann + shadowcaster on the brann + shadowcaster on the shadowcaster in a reno deck (with duplicates of shadowcaster only) to copy stuff like cairne, aya (with nzoth package) elise, vilespine, si:7, rag, healbot, edwin, swashburgler, nzoth, reno and bonemare for a disgusting amount of value. you can play the fatigue game with elise packs/map (depends on which one you prefer), value game, or just a billion removal options. its a lot of fun and offers a very different game every time since you have the options in your deck to do pretty much whatever you want assuming you draw them.

posted a message on What's really so wrong with Netdecking?

because its annoying and takes a lot of fun out of the game when you can predict exactly what your opponent is playing before the mulligan every single game, and accurately guess what he will play every turn. sure, it feels great crushing all the netdeckers with a homebrew list, but i would rather not face the same cards every game.

I'm not even going to get into how much I hate highlander priest. even as a deck favored against it I feel every game is a grind and a race against time. somehow they always seem to curve out pretty much perfect too for a deck only running 1-ofs which is also quite amazing.

posted a message on Should You play around it?

Depends on the circumstance, like if I'm playing hunter or token paladin into a 6 mana druid I'm not gonna flood the board because spreading plague will win the game. Against priest I'm not going all in on a dragonfire turn, I might partially commit to try and force it out. Same thing vs control mage unless I have deadly shot in hand into a nova/doomsayer turn. If them clearing wins the game I often will play around it unless we're getting to the stage of the came where I feel like I'm on a time limit. After turn 8 vs priest I'm not gonna play bonemare until after he plays his deathknight unless it gives me lethal or sets up lethal with my remaining minions. I will put the buff on a minion that's already going to die to anduin battlecry instead of buffing a weaker minion like I would do against pretty much all other classes

posted a message on To reduce the barriers of entry for new players should Blizzard make all common/rare Classic set cards free to all players?
    Quote from Shendov >>

I just created a new acc for arena only and i played like 30 games constructed from the beggining of the month till now. I got matched with people that are new players. It is true that if you play ladder the more you rank up the harder it gets since matchmaking on ladder is based on your rank i think. On the other side in casual games i was matched with players that don't have a collection and play with mostly basic cards and some cards from the classic set and they were like 90% of my games. The other 10% were probably pay 2 play people who invested cash and expanded their collection. So starting fresh on hs isn't as bad as it used to be. I remember starting when Whispers was released and it was really hard keeping up then. I think Blizzard did something about it since i experienced a new f2p acc and i can't really complain i manage to do my dailes from time to time and play arena mostly. I really don't think they should give free content to new players just because they are new. If they give free content to new players it wouldn't be fair to the others and they will have to compensate everyone which in the case Blizzard is at loss. And it's not fair because I invested time and money in the game to have the cards i want and need and so should new players. I mean i'm up for making the new player experience better and all that but not in the way OP is suggesting.

just wait a day or 2. on my second f2p account i was facing players with 10k dust multiple legendary cards within 2 days. im pretty sure its based on overall player winrate so i quickly outpaced players with a similar size collection.

posted a message on How in the world do you beat HighLander Priest?

ive seen a lot less pirate warriors, which is what the deck youre playing is built to farm. go a little greedier with your minions. big priest will still be a nightmare if they barnes on 4 into obsidian statue and a res you just lose. highlander priest shouldnt be so bad though. dont play too hard into dragonfire. I'm running CotW as a 1-of in my hunter deck, its a nice little late game burst if they have somehow survived that long to finish it off. they cant really afford to play their deathknight so u can continually pressure the board. if he doesnt raza you dont even want to play your deathknight since 2 face damage every turn is pretty powerful and puts him on a clock which forces him into sub optimal plays.

posted a message on Deck building 101?

i generally start by picking a classes best cards, then figure out what kind of deck im building (midrange/aggro/control) and then begin to fill it out.

If I'm playing wild paladin, unless im a heavy control deck im starting with Argent Protector, Shielded Minibot, Muster for Battle, Sunkeeper Tarim, Spikeridged Steed. If I'm more midrange, then Steward of Darkshire, Southsea Deckhand, Patches the Pirate, and Bonemare are most likely going in as well. if the meta is a little slower, ill consider Ragnaros, Lightlord, Tirion Fordring and Stonehill Defender. if its faster, Sludge Belcher will most likely be in there.

so class cards, deck type and meta are all part of my considerations. i usually get to about rank 5-7 with homebrew decks

posted a message on Keleseth vs. Grimestreet Outfitter

prince is only good if u draw it early, otherwise grimestreet, while slow, might still be better. that being said, if u have prince on curve, with divine favor and small time recruits paladin can get an insane tempo advantage

posted a message on Permanent ramp + UI is a much bigger issue in Jade Druid than Innervate and SP.
    Quote from DiamondDM13 >>

If they manage to ramp and UI without a care in the world, it means you are playing a slow, probably control deck. At which point, you should use Skulking Geist regardless of whether or not you like it. It's a card to help you deal with the unfair part of Jades, Infinite Resources.

I know most players don't have enough knowledge of this game to understand how much impact Innervate has, but if you don't, can't you people at least wait until the nerfs hit before trying to pass off judgement that is based on nothing other than lack of knowledge? 6 Games is nothing, if you told me those conclusions came from 1000 games across multiple decktypes, I would understand.

Either way, you should just use other threads that already exist in the forum, not create new ones. Or even the Salt Thread.

Not necessarily. They can easily ramp on 2 and 3, play spreading plague and 4 which is a free 1-2 turns for the druid to ramp with nourish into 10 mana on turn 6. I mostly play midrange paladin and if I don't get a good start I just lose. Swipe is quite good against decks like paladin (if recruit/post warleader nerf) and hunter which nana they get an additional turn or 2. I think spreading plague is the problem though, at 5 health it's really brutal for aggro/midrange since you generally have to trade minions in twice. The mana cost isn't what deserved the nerf, compare it to protect the king and it's insanely more powerful for 2 (soon to be 3) more in a class with 8 ramp cards and UI/Noirish to refill their hand to either start dropping jades or other big minions

    Dear hearthstone,

Can i stop facing 1000000 fucking priests in a row, then when I switch to exodia mage for these retards, stop facing only pirate warriors?

    Sincerely,

A player who is getting tired of this fucking game very quickly
