 You realize it's a tempo deck, and that card is the best tempo card draw...

I pretty much always play it tempo, never on 10, because it just is amazing on curve with Zilliax, that is the name of the deck, don't be afraid to throw it before ten! It keeps the pressure so much the opponent is too distracting taking the board and slowly losing life till the bombs get him.

Without good card draw and a decent mid/late game, I feel this deck is being way over hyped. Also, Sunreaver Spy vs Secretkeeper have anti synergy because of the distinctions of being played against already having one, so perhaps we will see a shift towards cutting the 1 drop

My guess, this is tier 3. Will we finally be free of the rein of Paladin? 

Got to say first of all, love the art! He’s lighting the fuse with his head candle XD

My first comparison is of course Abomination except just minions with larger damage, and the reason that card does not see play is because it’s easy to control its power as the opponent by trading off low health minions into it, unlike Primordial Drake which removed that option. But since be drago is rotating out and it does not deal damage to yourself like stitches over here it’s a bit better, but allowing opponents to deal is yucky. Hard to say with this guy, 3 damage is certainly a lot...

In regards to Rafaam being the same card as Golden Monkey: 

Here's the difference: play a 3/5 for 4, wait till you draw a map that shuffles a taunt with that battlecry. Because DKs are rotating from frozen throne we are no longer faced with infinite value (you may say Hagatha and Boom says otherwise but Hagatha requires minions and small hand and will fill that up with crappy unplayable spells and the doctor is unreliable, making it not infinite and easily accessible), this rotation will hopefully create a new meta, and if you put this card that no longer requires jumping through hoops (rather playing warlock) it will be completely different than back in LoE. 

This genius by blizzard and keep in mind LoE was a long time ago, so it's still fresh and fun!

If you're talking about the Golden Kobold, that's only from hand and only from Marin, more hoops

TL;DR different meta + 'same' effect= different card

Day9 is really funny and a damn fine player, he's had ok streams yes but still made them quite entertaining

I would definitely put Kobolds higher since its Dungeon Run had me hooked. 

I think it's great fun tbh and a really good chnage of pace from standard which I'm a bit burned out of until the next expansion. 

I feel like Mechs are stronger in general, because Beasts really only get extremely powerful if you find the right cards, like Cave Hydra, Mama Bear and Goldrinn, as you mentioned. In my experience, if you don't find those, mechs will beat you any time.

I think it will probably be a gamemode some will love and some won't. I'm sure if you asked a lot of players plenty would say arena gets boring after a run or two. Different people like different modes.

 Yeah, next patch is a safe bet. I preordered both bundles and nothing's showed up yet...my guess is the next hearthstone update we'll get our stuff.
