Worthwhile to dust some old worthless legionaries to craft white eyes? I main Shaman and play a Jade deck you and see off my profile. Was thinking manastorm, gazlowe, then possibly either anomalus, cho'gall, anub'ark, or foe reaper. Thoughts?
Exactly, the best I ever saw it used was in handlock, once you get your giant walls up, if they can't one shot kill them, they waste a few minions into lowering them, then you recombob them and are garunteed to get the same card back since they're casting costs are unique, so its a free heal for 2 mana
I figured I would hear someone saying the same. As I said, I changed it to fit my taste. For me, for some reason, chows seem to do more harm then good, dead cards later on when you can't afford to give the life back and somehow mine always seem to trade badly at the beginning. The Zap's have won me a few games on their own hiding behind either the feral spirit on sludge belcher then getting a buff or two or three, they can do some insane burst damage that really puts em behind the 8 ball. I normally understand about fire elemental, but it does nothing for the synergy of rebirth, while on the other hand, slyvannas stealing two creatures as well as cairn giving a 4/5 and another cairn (and possibly another 4/5) seems better than a 6/5 body with a bolt attached. Just my opinions.
Thanks Cronaz, love the basis for the deck. As with anything, I've tinkered with it a bit to serve my personal taste and play style but the idea and structure is all yours. For the first time I don't feel completely overmatched as a shaman to EVERY other class.
My changes included -2 chows for +2 zap-o, -1 mana tide +1 feral spirit, -1 al'akir +1 doom hammer, -1 sledge +1 drake, -1 fire ele +1 cairn (rein-cairns so damn well HAD to include him)
May be a silly question, but can someone explain to me why Chows are so good. I understand in my priest deck because I can keep healing them and triggering cleric card draws and chow keeps eating the zoo low minions, but in any other deck that can't heal the chows they seem to get get removed, or kill 1-2 minions and then heal for 5, which doesn't seem to trade all that well
Prolly value. As I said, I don't have a huge card list. A very small list of legends compared to most players, and few few "game changing" cards. So the smartest would probably be value that can be used in all my decks. IE Boom. Plus if he gets nerfed I can always use him till then, then cash him out at full at switch to something else (ie Nept)
I was personally leaning towards him or boom. There is no other card similar to him that I can think of which put him over Al;akir since doom hammer is a close replacement. Only thing holding me back is Boom is so overpowered it seems right now and he can be used in ALL my decks
I'm a f2p player without a huge cardlist. I have two worthless legendaries rotting in my collection, Hemet and Deathwing, and enough dust to make one legend if I combine everything I mentioned above. I play mostly Shaman, but don't have either class legend. Trying to decide what would be most useful to spend my dust on of Al'Akir, Nept, or the other popular neutral legends which could aid all my decks. I already have Golden Rag, TBK, and Cairn. Was considering either Dr. Boom, Slyvannas, or the two Shaman class legends. Was leaning away from Al'akir since Doomhammer is similar and I have that. Thoughts on what gives the most value?
I was thinking the same, I don't know what to do with the FM, but I've been using snapjaws for the blademasters for now, weaker all the way around and slower, I've got a Yeti for the TBK, I've also got Kel'thuzad in there somewhere but surprisingly its been holding up fairly decently for a poor man's deck. I can only imagine how well it would work with the actual cards in it. The Rage quits when they are low on cards and you've got the buffed elemental set up are amazing, even better with Kel sitting there as well.
Okay... so this might be a crazy question. I only started playing last season so I am WAY behind on cards, and I don't put much money into this game. I want to try this deck as people tend to say its crazy fun and good, however, I am lacking some critical cards. I don't have Thalnos, TBK, FM, or either Blademaster. I don't have alot of dust either, though I think I have like 250, so I could make the two blademasters which I think are critical pieces. What are your suggestions? Is there any way to run this deck minus those critical cards with less rare replacements? Would crafting the two blademasters with my last dust and then replacing the other cards with something be viable? Thoughts?

I just got my non-gold one from a 0-3 arena as well
