You can't replace Dr.Boom.
Neptulon can be replaced with Black Knight, Sylvanas
Al'Akir can be replaced with Ragnaros/Doomhammer
You can't replace the Zombie Chow
I will try to answer all questions. Also feel free to ask me on stream.
Still the best Shaman deck for me
"You can't replace Dr. Boom"
Yes because I need an unbalanced card to win.
I've won plenty games without using exploits.
gg for reaching rank 15 ;)
I seriously doubt you've won jack shit running sub-optimal decks. There's good cards and bad cards you can sit here and spit your opinion out all you want lmao. Cry to the devs and enjoy playing at rank 15 crying about cards you don't have.
I'd add to this deck [card]Sylvanas Windrunner[/card] instead of [card]Al'Akir the Windlord[/card] and stick there 1x Ancestral Spirit just for lulz. I like this combo, and often it's gamebreaking stuff for 8 mana.
have everything but Neptulon any good replacements?
Thanks for the deck, I'm loving it so far, I don't have [card]Al'Akir the Windlord[/card] but I tried swapping him out for Enhance-o Mechano for fun and to keep the tempo when you're ahead, so far he's working pretty well
I am a huge shaman fan, and am happy to see a deck with all of the old school cards like feral spirit that have often been cut recently. Clearly this deck did great in legend, but do you think it would fare well at rank 10? Obviously, the decks I will face are very different.
May be a silly question, but can someone explain to me why Chows are so good. I understand in my priest deck because I can keep healing them and triggering cleric card draws and chow keeps eating the zoo low minions, but in any other deck that can't heal the chows they seem to get get removed, or kill 1-2 minions and then heal for 5, which doesn't seem to trade all that well
They are so good for exactly what you mentioned, killing 1-2 of the early game tempo thieves. Zombie chow is essentially anti-tempo when you get it opening hand.
You never wanna aim for face with a chow in the early turns unless if they dont play anything. What you are honestly looking for is them to blow a removal on it. That moment when you see them use a frostbolt or lightning bolt or flame cannon is worth everytime. Think about it all you had to do was slap down a minion on turn 1 which you wouldnt be doing any other plays on with this deck anyway.
The issue with zombie chow is drawing it late game, but the reward of getting it early game far outweighs the risk.
the deck is a total crap in a current meta: 10 loses in a row to all classes except face hunter. to any form of deck.
Thanks mate, great against Warlock, Druid and Hunter. Priest and Mage are the hardest match I think.
I want to start playing this deck, but i dont have al'akir, nor neptulon, and i can only craft one of them. so which one should i craft?
I would recommend al'akir more since in this deck he is used kinda like garrosh in control warrior.
You could possibly replace Loatheb, but I think he's just far too good. He can completely destroy your opponent's plans -- especially if you're up against somebody who wants to Flamestrike, Blizzard or Lightning Storm next turn to clear your board. It could be the difference between winning and losing.
Well, have been using this deck since previous season and actually everything went pretty well BUT,the deck is too heavy, and sometimes doesnt have an answer for hunters(face\mid) not talking priest cauz its usually a loose match up,paladin can outrun you because you AOE is not perfect and throws you behind a lot.
Surely warriors are super easy, never lost a single match up with him, rogues are 50\50 and mech mage is a LOOOSE.I played a lot of shaman decks, wathed streams, etc BUT there hasnt been s stable 60-70 % win rate deck.Found 1 and its really awesome, kinda like tempo but with agressive style, changed azure drake for Bloodlust, cauz our deck runs with a lot of smal creatures\totems and you can burst opponent out easily at the end or have an answer if you are out of Big Game Hunter and have totems vs BIG creatures.
Definitely agree. Meta breaker? Mech mage is pretty much everywhere and it's a 100% loss every time. I'd hardly call that meta breaker.

For people who do not have Dr. Boom, Neptulon, or Sylvanas.
You might be pleasantly surprised to find out that Frostwolf Warlord can be quite powerful in this deck. Getting it to 10/10 was pretty easy, and it only cost 5 mana (although it needs you to have a healthy board to do anything impressive, but having a healthy board is a given anyway because otherwise you WILL lose, and whether its Sylvanas, Neptulon or Dr Boom wouldn't matter).
People who dislike Harvest Golem could also try Spider Tank, its a much more stable choice but it has its downsides such as no death rattle for secondary presence.
Thanks, really helpful for beginner like me.
