Quote from notsoclutch jumpPeople are too hung up on this card. Shredder vs. Yeti is a more relevant discussion even though it isnt blatant outclassing such as this. Shredder causes issues in the competitive design space while heckler is simply a rebalancing of a terrible card. Power creep deals in the competitive sphere and not in the relative power of cards. Blizzard learned their lesson with BBB and is simply taking a rebalancing approach with a new card instead of in a way that the general public would rather see.
I disagree. It is not about the competitive scene. It is about the general principle behind it.
Until now, they really cared not to powercreep anything. Shredder can be silenced, Yeti can't. Heck, even Boom is kinda vulnerable to Rend Blackfist and Neruban Weblord where War Golem is not.
Now, it is the FIRST set, where they basically said: Screw it. We start powercreeping with useless cards, and see how the community reacts. I really hope these discussions are enough to oppose further bullshit like this.
The problem is not that the formerly unplayable cards get replaced by a bit less unplayable cards, the problem is the general idea behind it. If they can do it with useless cards (for no reason as they could buff the old cards instead), why shouldnt they do it with better cards some day in the future?

Reclaiming Redridge Mountains
After receiving this letter, you haste to the region of Redridge Mountains ready to tackle your new task. Upon arriving, a footman guarding the modest village of Lakeshire brings you to the town hall where you meet Magistrate Solomon:
After introducing himself, the Magistrate tells you that the current task is not an easy one and there are going to be multiple phases to it. We do know that right now, thanks to the night elf spies who have been able to infiltrate Stonewatch Keep for us, the orcs are planning to attack the village very soon and probably try to eradicate any human from this region, and probably eventually push to Elwynn Forest and finally, Stormwind. It is our duty to block send them back when they are from before our whole race is wiped out. The orcs we know are either green or orange but those, according to the Lakeshire inhabitants, are... different. We do know that all orcs are aggressive but we have no idea to know if they are absolutely all related to each other or not. From what we know, they could be acting by themselves and not be part of the usual orcs. Before tackling our tougher enemies situated near the Tower of Ilgalar and Stonewatch Keep, namely Morganth and Gath'Ilzogg, the Magistrate has other plans in mind to help us prepare for a safe attack on those positions:
Last wing boss: Gath'Ilzogg
While assaulting the last location occupied by those beasts, you will have to meet your final opponent, Gath'Ilzogg. But who could really be behind all of this? Is there someone else giving those orders to Gath'Ilzogg?
Gath'Ilzogg will use the help of his Blackrock orcs and his whelp companion Singe to stop you from retaking Stonewatch Keep. While the Blackrock orcs are different warrior taking advantage of your own strenghts, Singe is a legendary minion who will make sure to give you a hard time planning some of your turns. The fight will be a tough one in term of calculations and having to plan your moves ahead.
New cards
The cards of this adventure are based around minions count and general disruption of your opponent (existing examples would be Cult Apothecary, Mind Control Tech, Sea Giant and Loatheb) as well as introducing a new tribe, the Gnolls.

Blizzard's design team.... wow. Is this serious? There are tons of people with amazing ideas in the community and those are the cards they come up with? All the cards they revealed so far have been incredibly boring, save for maybe 1 card. This is not about if a card is good or not, I don't care about that, it's about the FUN aspect of the game, it's a game, it's supposed to be fun but those cards are the opposite of fun... some cards made from the community seems to be so much fun... so disappointing.

- This card acts like some kind of finisher when you have both in your hand. You can then play both of them for 10 damage.
- It loses its Charge if the other one is still in your deck, but it is still a 5/6 in that case, which is great stats.
- You can also play only one copy in your deck and guarantee the charge but lose the power of the late double charge.
I think a design like this would be really fun and interesting in HS.
Enjoy!
