I was just in the shower thinking (it's where I do my best thinking) about ways to make a trolly-yet-viable Iron Juggernaut deck when the scent of bodywash inspired a different train of thought; what to do about golden cards.

P.S. they've done this already: rogue mill.

    Enjoy!

But Iron Juggernaut is a WARRIOR specific legendary.

Paladin. He always brings along his stupid siblings and then he walks out on you because he has to take a shit or something and you sit there with this thing and you don't know what to do with it. In the best case you met you met to play some video games so you have something to do but if you met to hang out or play football or something... shit sucked.

"That guy" for me is the "I'm sorry" guy. The guy who spends the entire game slamming you with enough "I'm sorry's" to make an over-apologizer shake his head in disgust. The guy who spams "I'm sorry" before and after using a creature-destroying spell, or another bracket of "I'm sorry" before and after spell-damaging your face for lethal.

That for me is "the guy", and god damnit I hate him so.

If you had said you didn't have a favorite deck yet, this would be a much tougher question to answer. Since you said your favorite class to play BY FAR is rogue, however, the answer is obvious: Edwin VanCleef

posted a message on Is classic Control Warrior viable in the current meta?
    Quote from Jota »

Control warrior is bad since gvg

I respectfully disagree. I've played some great control warrior decks that have turned my deck upside-down in high-ranked ladder play. Have Grim Patron warrior decks taken over? Yes. Have they made control warrior any less viable? No.

posted a message on VOTE: Most annoying Class to play AGAINST? Versus which Class you do NOT like to play most?

    Hunter by a landslide? Figures.

I chose hunter because they've become so predictable. They're, in my opinion, the ONLY class in the game you face and you automatically mulligan in preparation of facehunter. I really like some hunters moving away from the facehunter trend and bringing back midrange hunter, but there still isn't enough of them to change the trend...

Still running midrange paladin and, by virtue, still farming facehunter :)

Possibly changing some of my tech cards out to help counter the recent flood of "EVERYBODY, GET IN HERE!" warrior on the ladder (i.e. Mind Control Tech)

posted a message on What do you want/expect in the next set?

    1. It's already been said here, but priest and shaman are in dire need of some love. Both classes are barely playable higher up the ladder (priest maybe, but shaman absolutely not).

    2. Lets complete some more tribes for viability purposes! Hearthstone already has the building blocks for murloc and pirate decks, but neither are anywhere near viable in ladder. The dual-bonus of making murlocs a viable tribe is that they're primarily played in shaman decks, thus making a viable tribe and possibly single-handedly reviving a class. Win-win!

    3. Added low-cost, neutral taunt creatures. The meta has gotten better, but we still need more answers to early-aggression decks like zoolock and facehunter. I think there can definitely be some great debate on that point, but I don't think there are enough neutral cards in the game at this time to help counter decks that swarm the board early and spend the game aiming for face. I still believe these decks can be effective even with added neutral low-cost taunt creatures and my aim isn't to make these decks irrelevant. You still would have to add these cards to your deck and they would take up valuable deck slots. But if you want to add early-game cards to counter these decks that don't completely sell out to solely counter them, there are very few cards in the game that can both stop early-game aggression and still be viable against other kinds of decks (i.e. token druid, dragon paladin...)

posted a message on Control Warrior Deck help

I'm not a control warrior expert, but I'm 99.9% certain Blood Knight has to go. I'm also pretty certain Bomb Lobber can be replaced for something that works better with your class, but for that one I'll defer to a more experienced control warrior.

Mage is BY FAR my favorite class you've come out with so far. I was definitely ready to jump on the "Jaina is way OP" wagon until I read your description, which works for me. Lots of great cards for mage and I could see mage dominating this expansion with the cards you've created. I particularly like the idea of these location cards you've created and it definitely adds another dimension to game play. Very well done.

I like the ideas with the Hunter class, but I think Tortolla is WAY OP. I think the divine shield part of his ability needs to go and maybe his 15-health body trimmed down a bit. 15 health= half a players life total, which could shut down decks on it's own (I'm looking at you, zoolock). Otherwise, I like the concept and particularly like Bait the Trap, which would almost immediately become a staple in plenty of hunter decks out there.

Great Job with Death Knight class! Only recommendation I would have: Either lower the cost of Cult of the Damned, lower the countdown, or both. For 10 mana, he has no attack and you have to wait 6 turns for Kel'Thuzad to hit the floor. Kel'thuzad isn't even particularly great compared to Lord Jaraxxus, who comes out much faster and has a far superior hero ability.

Other than that, love the class ability and the cards are pretty well balanced. Great work!

Hm, you're absolutely right.  Kel'thuzad is simply too risky considering the Cult's mana cost.  I think 5-6 mana is fair?

I think 5 mana and Countdown 4 would work. That would mean Kel'Thuzad would (best case scenario) come out turn 9 where he can still be relevant to the game. My fear with Cult is that, partnered with a card like Sunfury Protector or Defender of Argus, the card would become a borderline-impenetrable wall versus a card that's just hard to remove but doesn't do much to affect the board directly.

Nordrassil Inn Attendant is stupidly overpowered :-( Also I don't like giving Druid's Windfury options. That should remain a Shaman trait.

Otherwise quite a few interesting cards. I like Treant Form. Good "hard removal" for Druid, which don't have that much useful hard removal.

Couldn't agree more about Nordrassil Inn Attendant: way too OP. I also don't know how to feel about Goldrinn: he's either really good or really bad, and I haven't been able to make up my mind on it...

Other than that, I really like the cards and I like that you gave druid a removal card, since that class is incredibly removal-starved. Great work!
