posted a message on Herald Volazj-What to do with him?

I haven't used much of him yet, but I would think deathrattle priest might be a good use? He's tough to use because, particularly with the larger deathrattle minions, they need to spend a turn on the board to make this useful, and if they're spent more than one turn untouched on board, chances are you've already won the game. Very interested to see someone use him effectively in a deck.

posted a message on C'Thun So Far

C'Thun decks work well when people merge them with pre-existing successful decks. Decks made entirely around C'Thun are failing left and right, but C'Thun ramp druid and C'Thun control warrior is doing pretty well--just to name two.

Zoo paladin with deathrattle N'Zoth as a finisher is coming, mark my words. Paladin has the undisputed best deathrattle minion in the game, have a means of flooding the board with their hero power, and have enough control to turn decks on their heads. It's just a matter of time until someone builds the right deathrattle paladin deck for it to start crushing on ladder.

Is it just me, or is this card WILDLY OP in wild, but only pretty good in Standard?

What makes it OP in Wild versus Standard?

The wide range of dragons in wild vs. standard.
Wild has a schlew of dragons with tons of varying costs, making it more practical to use Deathwing, Dragonlord as one of the backbone cards of a deck.
Standard, however--as it stands--has far less dragons, and all those dragons cost a crapload more. You're making it harder on yourself because, to maximize this card's effectiveness, you want a few dragons in hand before he hits the board. Harder setup for this card to get max use in standard instead of wild.
If this set releases more dragons, I 100% retract this statement. As it stands, however, it'll still be a good standard card, but not good enough to be the same card it can be in wild.

posted a message on New Priest Card - Embrace the Shadow

I'm really trying, but I just can't see this card being run... the only slot this card would occupy, as others have pointed out above, is the slot where Auchenai Soulpriest sits, and would you ever replace this card with that? I'd rather pay the extra 3 mana to put a 3/5 on board.

For anyone whose ever worked in retail before, the reaction people will have to this card is simple: to think about in their decks, but no one will actually pull the trigger and include it.

I know this comment is easily labeled under the way too soon section, but I can reasonably say: utterly broken.

10 Mana: summon whichever combination of beasts needed to bring your opponent's life total down to 0 this turn.

Blizzard is REALLY pushing the control hunter build...

posted a message on Aviana Ramp Druid

I LOVE this deck!!! The use of Youthful Brewmaster in this deck is first rate and is WAY better than simply silencing Darnassus Aspirant. I'm actually running two brewmasters in my version and I've had a great response from it, since you can use brewmaster to return and play a creature on the board low on health anyways. It's been doing great damage and I thank you for giving us the idea for more brewmaster use in ramp druid now!

posted a message on TGT - Confessor Paletress in Dragon Priest?

I agree with everyone on this thread. I've tried so hard to make Confessor Paletress work but, even in control priest, she just isn't viable. Too random and at the 9-drop space (since no one is crazy enough to play her without taking advantage of her inspire the same turn) is full of heavy hitters who are far more effective. In dragon priest, this weakness becomes even more glaring... hopefully someone comes up with a deck to take more advantage of her.

With this expansion, Blizzard is literally taking aggro decks out behind the barn and putting them down Old Yeller-style.
