Sneed's Old Shredder It was never that good and it has rotated far from competitive play, but I just love the memories of it pulling out crap like Rag and KT back in the day. Plus the golden animations look pretty sick imo.
Priest- Really just have not enjoyed playing against basically any iteration of priest, just very frustrating class when it is strong as they slowly bleed you dry with removal and heals.
Paladin- Mostly still harboring resentment over the reign of Secret Paladin on the ladder and how utterly ridiculous that deck was, very glad this BS is in wild now.
Shaman- So many powerful cards that all fit together so perfectly, sometimes impossible to do anything against because they will just have perfect curve and perfect, OP answers to whatever you are trying to do.
The last couple of months I've personally had the most success with Dragon Warrior, however the meta is shifting and it is not as wholly successful as it has been in the past, though still very powerful. I think Midrange Hunter is a solid choice with the new cards added in Karazahn, very powerful matchups against most warrior builds and can be teched for your meta very easily. Zoo could also be a very strong pick still if Hunter becomes even more popular. Just gotta pick a deck and keep grinding until you get where you want to be.
Midrange Hunter has almost always fared poorly against matchups that go faster than it (originally things like Face Hunter and Aggro Paladin, now Aggro Shaman). Last I checked, Aggro Shaman is still a very strong deck that can nuke a Hunter if the Hunter doesn't have ideal early draws. As long as Shaman exists in it's current state, I believe it will hold Hunter in check.
I'd have to say Doomhammer. You have some pretty heavy hitters already with Flamewreathed and Fireguard among others, would allow you to curve out and pressure so long as you take the board early on. Charged Hammer, though good, is too slow for what kind of deck you are trying to run and would only be better if you chanced into more control elements, which is hard enough as it is for Shaman to do in arena.
Right now, it is really hard to make use of his ability as Warlock's spells don't really line up too well with it as most people have stated. However, if there were ever some sort of Tempo Warlock build that became viable through further card releases, that would be a deck I could see him really shining in. That would still require some new, crazy Warlock spells to be released though.
I also thought of Sneed's Old Shredder, but like said before: he is ultraslow and only a 5/7 on the turn you play him, in most cases he isn't even dead on turn 10 when you need to play N'zoth the Corruptor)
Malkorok is probably the more powerful card as Varian Wrynn usually is only relevant against control matchups to give your deck the gas to finish them off. However, Varian Wrynn is such a unique and powerful effect that can't really be replicated by any other cards, whereas I've found success replacing Malkorok in the deck with the new Hogger if you happen to have that. Overall,Malkorok is probably the better card, but I think Varian Wrynn is the more unique and awesome card in my opinion.
I think Hallazeal will eventually see play as well, super useful card and effect. Deathwing is more of a tech choice legendary, usually in really greedy control warrior lists, but there are more versatile legendaries available. I personally like new Mukkla and how he effects things like Tempo Mage or some more aggressive Druid lists, but he will always be inferior to more meta options like Sylvanas and Cairne for the time being. Don't feel that Greenskin is very good, but might work in a Pirate deck or even some sort of weapon buffing aggro list.
I got to rank 8 last season with Beast Druid and C'thun Druid is at least tier 2.
You can definitely still ladder and do decently with Druid if that's what floats your boat. Just compared to where it was before, it feels like the class got really gutted Even when you are running dedicated, optimized lists (Beast, Midrange, Ramp, C'thun) the whole class lacks the same oomph as it did before where your plays just don't feel as impactful compared to other classes unless you have a truly outstanding draw withInnervate shenanigans.
It will be really interesting to see what Blizzard chooses to do with Druid in the expansions to come because right now, it doesn't feel like there is anything that the class does exceptionally well and it has a lot of weaknesses (Lack of tempo outside of ramp, very few recovery options, situational win conditions) that it has to try and overcome. Still, very happy with cards like Fandral Staghelm and Dark Arakoa and how they perform, just need some more stuff to really solidify a high tier deck.

Just my personal opinions though.

Best thread I've read in weeks, this is how I will become legendary.

I miss Flamecannon a bit, super useful for purging all those pesky Totem Golems.
