As you read i don't think you can replace Malganis effectively, you can play the deck without him but it's a bit of a waste.
If i were you i would just play the classic zoo deck that is faster and can make the grind less time consuming, although i can't guaranteed the effectiveness it should be capable to rank to legend.
I don't know what to say about BoD, the card literally won me the last 3 games (2 against Patron) that pushed me to Legend, it's certainly an rng card but the few times that it changes the game from unwinable to a star, worths the slot.
On the other hand BGH is a really good tech card but most of the time is a dead card i have mixed feelings with it, it's more a kind of reactive card and that's not the play style you want with zoo on hard matchups, you have to take the initiative and the pressure (obviously Dr Balanced makes this the exception)
I haven't tried Loatheb at all but i can see him working fine on that slot, you can even try Sylvannas there.
TL;DR: It's a matter of preference and meta choice.
I just climbed yesterday to legend with demon lock zoo, it's in a good spot. My worst matchups were freeze mage and handlock but not facing many of them, you need to know how to play against patron / hunter or you won't climb but overall i'm happy with the choice.
Have to agree with seeing lots of patrons, aggro pallys also.
I just reached legend yesterday with demon zoo lock on NA, and i can certainly say that you can do it but it's a bit grindy.
Here is a GOOGLE SHEET with my results. (Check tab 2 in the left corner)
And today i noticed THIS reddit guide by other player and has a couple of answers that myself share with the op, he is an experienced player, you can ask him or myself if you have any doubt.
You will encounter one DECK on the reddit post but i climbed with a different list: -1 Direwolf +1 Void Terror and -1 Imp +1 Sea Giant
The Flame Imp is a good card vs control matchups as you need as much early agression as you can before they can control the game on the other hand the Argent Squire is really good for board control on the aggro/mirror match ups.
I'll have to say that it depends on the meta you are facing, try to adjuste to what you play the most.
Hope this helps you a little and excuse if something doesn't make sense in English.
I'm not entirelly sure about the chance to give a card, sounds good and everything that makes players want to queue and play some games is good for the game in my head.
The reward system for reaching legend needs a revamp and you can find good videos/threads about that easily.
That's just about luck, with your way of play that rogue could have deadly poison + blade flurry on turn 3 and your board is gone anyways (it needs 2 cards as your example with two backstabs).
I'm not saying that your play is not better (i'll do that personally) but it can be played differently on different match ups.
I don't have the Shadowbomber so i replaced them with 1 Silence and another copy of Shadowform and it has been an amazing deck to quest with priest, thanks for sharing!

That is the broken part, a good starting hard, a coin and you could draw half of your deck on your second turn, simply insane.

Irony is strong in this one.

Same problem here, now with like 3 packs, not sure about not full dust value.

This is the pre-Rhonin version.

What do you do in case of 2 Leppers? I tend to play both on T1 with coin.

I'm playing a similar build to yours -2 Mortal Coil +1 Argent Squire +1 Big Game Hunter and it have been quite succefull on rank 5 to 2 NA.
