Thanks for the comment! Now, I totally agree with you. Drafting this deck, I was contemplating putting in card draw. And while Slam does help to an extent, it isn't as great as the two you recommended. Now, personally, I prefer the Acolyte over the Shield Block because if you think about it, Acolyte of Pain has more value potentially than a Shield Block. I think that Obsidian Destroyer's are vital in this deck, and so I would probably drop a Shieldmaiden for one Acolyte. Or maybe a few of the Slam's. The deck has been edited to my suggestions. So thanks for the input; appreciate it!

posted a message on Bolf Ramshield is great in Handlock

I don't know much about the Handlock Style (being a major Priest player), but props for making use of what people keep calling the worst TGT Legendary, Bolf Ramshield. I honestly think he's underrated; maybe I'll make a deck for him too.

You have to admit, his artwork is pretty nice.

Glad the jousting + Nozdormu glitch was fixed. But I do feel bad that Nozdormu continues to be unused... maybe I'll have to craft him. :3

I already commented on your comment, so I decided to linger on and view the one deck you had. I'm assuming you're trying to mimic Handlock Warlock with this alternative Hunter deck and I give you props for that. My thoughts?

    1. You're on point with the Handlock concept. You've got some Giants in there with Sunfury Protector and Defender of Argus to buff them up. You've got some decent draw power and board control.
    2. Garrison Commander is interesting. At first, I couldn't understand why you would need Garrison Commander if you were going to run the basic Mountain Giant plus Molten Giant Combo. And then I realized: You're actually running Frost Giant. In my opinion, this would be very fascinating in battle. I give you props for this idea, as it is reasonable: Hunters are going to constantly ping their hero power to face whenever they have the spare time, and in a Handlock deck like this, that will be quite often. Basically, I like the idea, but not sure how well it may work.
    3. Draw power is decent. I'm sorry to say this, but I think I speak the truth in that a Hunterlock deck will never be able to stand up to the grandeur of a Handlock Warlock. Warlock just has all the better tools to achieve a Handlock. At first, I felt like this deck wouldn't have enough draw power. But I think that with King's Elekk, Loot Hoarderand  Acolyte of Pain: You've got quite the potential.
    4. Board control is lacking. Handlock Warlock has access to tons of board wipes in the form of Hellfire and Shadowflame. This deck just doesn't have board control powerful enough like Warlock. And the sad thing is: it never will. Hunters don't have major boardwipes, or at least efficient ones that other classes do. So I can't technically nag that you lack board control since Hunter wasn't gifted strong board control. However, I will note that Freezing Trap and Powershot are pretty nice options you put in.
    5. You don't have enough sustain. Handlock Warlock runs at least one copy of Antique Healbot to keep themselves alive. I know that they need health because of their draining hero power, but I think running at least one Antique Healbot would help keep Hunterlock in the fight.

Overall, it isn't a bad idea at all. The only thing I fear is that it will never be as good as Handlock Warlock, which is fine. These are my opinions. You are not obliged to listen to them.

I really like this style of a Hunter Control deck; or at least how it looks on paper. I'm just curious to how you're going to make it draw-efficient. Otherwise, I praise you for making use of Acidmaw rather than shunning it.

My opinion: I love large weapons. Stuffing in one Gladiator's Longbow wouldn't be terrible. However, you have to consider: Do you want to spend 7 mana late-game for a 5/2 weapon? It does let you clear with its immunity; but you may be better off playing something else at 7 mana. Honestly, it's your opinion. I say all these things about its cons, but I would shove a Gladiator's Longbow right into the deck for the fun of it.

Every Control Deck needs good draw power so they aren't relying on their turns' draws to get them the cards they need. I really love the concept of a Control Hunter. I even made my own deck as well. But I suggest you add something to make this deck more consistent. Also, I feel that two copies of Houndmaster, though having the potential to pull up your tempo exceedingly well, isn't needed.

However, these are opinions; I hope you aren't offended.
