    hi in the past b4 raiding party, there were only 3 ways to draw kingsbane directly (2 caverns and kingsbane itself) , albeit 2 indirect ways in the form of 2 X elven minstrel. With 2 X raiding party, u know have a total of 5 ways. doing some rough maths, 30/5 is 6. so with every 6 cards on average, that set should have a weapon drawer or the weapon itself. This is much better than the old 30/3 = 10++.  this deck also runs cycle cards in the form of fan of knives and sprint (a bit clunky, but can be used with prep), it is likely u will be able to delay the game till u get ur kingsbane. thats what ur other cards that is not the weapon, not the weapon drawer, and not the weapon buffs are for. vanishes, saps, fan of knives, dread corsairs all help to prolong u for a while before u get ur weapon eventually. To ensure ur life is prolonged, use them smartly. dont use them prematurely , try to extract value, so lets say ur opponent is hunter with 2 minions on board at turn 4, its ur turn , do u vanish? no. u wait till they use their turn 5 wolf cesspool hax spellstone before vanishing. eventually if u can extract value, u will then get ur weapon by turn... 10? and then try to control the game by buffing the weapon and getting lifesteal.

    In desperate situations against aggro, do not be afraid to drop  ur minions to buff ur normal dagger, as they act as bodies and also buff ur weapon to clear bigger minions. then again, aggro is the bane of kingsbane, and kingsbane is mainly for fighting control, so its rather natural to lose i guess? against control u have so much more time to draw the kingsbane and right cards, so its fine.

    phantom freebooters look like a good idea in kingsbane deck, being 4 mana for 4 6 stats at base, and since theres more consistency in drawing kingsbane, it has definitely improved. but do you think this helps against aggro more than perhaps say other pirates like dread corsairs, seeing that its at 4 mana and doesnt do anything immediately?

    hmm nice deck for pirates, the only card i feel is redundant is spirit of the shark, it benefits only 7 cards in your deck, captain hooktusk, cutthroats , toxicologists, captain greenskins and elven minstrel, imo thats too little. and kingsbane usually wins against control or combo decks, having greatest difficulty against aggro. a 4 mana do nothing but win a bit more later doesnt seem to be warranted. backstabs etc. could be more advised. also the kingsbane issue isnt the lack of dmg on the weapon but survivability to late game (ur deck max is now 10 damage on kingsbane w/o spirit, maybe more with valeera), which is sufficient as not much minions have above 10 health, the spirit is a rather gimmicky winmore card that does not really improve your strong matchups , but definitely weakens your weak ones.

    tldr, cut spirit and enjoyyyyyy weeeeee

    I would maybe think of cutting 1 elven minstrel and 1 doomerang. for elven, you only have 11 minions and with 2 raiding parties you are able to draw 4. with 2 elvens that is 8, which is a bit much in a 11 minion deck when you will just normally draw them all naturally. WIth raiding party you now have more consistency in getting kingsbane and so can do away with 1 doomerang.

    with this extra 2 slots, maybe late game removal in the forms of vilespine, walk the plank or assassinate, whichever u prefer, or more aggro oriented defenses like backstabs, depending on the meta

    if i could comment, the lack of vanishes and a blade flurry would mean an automatic lose to any board that is large (> 4 minions) , or a couple or 3 that has meaty stats like for beast druid which cannot be all removed by one turn of saps or vilespines. 

    Usually decks without vanishes would mean you are able to create a board yourself to control the board, but in this case your deck does not run a pirate package to do so. 

    also having only 8 minions but having 2x raiding party and 2x elven minstrel will definitely dilute each other draws. u may think u are adding draws for the decks, but these are minion based and I think is counter intuitive, maybe 1 elven is enough?

    having only 1 leeching poison makes kingsbane inconsistent, and most pro decks run 2, if ur deck has alot of draw, i believe it can be justified to try to only have 1 leeching so that you get it in a game, or that u once again are able to consistently maintain board control so that you wont be faced too often, but i dont think a deck with only clear spells like eviserates/backstabs/shivs can do so.

     I don't know if you're trolling or not, but Valeera the Hollow is one of the most important cards in the deck. It basically means there will never be any fatigue damage, thus Control decks can hardly win.

     This is simply untrue, if you are asserting Valeera is the reason to prevent fatigue.

    You can simply break your kingsbane with your normal rogue hero power, and draw the kingsbane the next turn to prevent fatigue, albeit less efficiently at the cost of 2 mana instead of 1.

    I don't think you should replace Captain Greenskin with Blade Flurry cause it is counter-intuitive. The former helps with adding durability to the weapon to ensure it being in play more often and also buffing it, while the other destroys it. Maybe what is closest is a Naga Corsair or Doomerang for either the buff or holding on to the weapon?

    It is a useful card in Mill but I do not think its core.

    I think Kolento said on stream that he felt 2 preparations to be a bit clunky in his hand. And 2 leeching poisons are for ensuring the draw since having a large weapon and swinging for heals is an important sustain in the deck
