So, you played the game to get virtual things not to enjoy the gameplay... Congratulation, you have an addiction and should be thankful that Blizzard introduced the new rewards system that reduced your interest in your addiction.

Who would've thought ? I strongly encourage you guys to come to the hearthstone subreddit. No free speech on this website.

Blizzard just deleted their tweet about the future Q&A coming up, probably not willing to answer the monstrous backlash about the battlepass and general hs economy.
So instead of just updating the post announcing the q&a or making another one, hearthpwn just deletes the initial post which prevents any further debate.
My question is to hearthpwn : which side are you on ? The player's or blizzard ? Cause it sure as hell cannot be both.

Fuck tickatus and everyone who plays that obnoxious bs.
Also why would they even print new c'thun along with this bs that makes it unplayable!?
To reiterate: fuck tickatus. Eat a turd.

Quote from sahtradoog >>Yes, a minion with rush is a rush minion. It really isn't that hard.
which one of these two cards is a rush minion?
Ancient Watcher or Bladed Lady
If you give Ancient Watcher Rush, they are both rush minions.

I have climbed to legend with this deck:
Clown druid is not control, there's nothing even remotely "controlling" about the archetype, it's more of a combo deck. For the most part you just ignore what your opponent does so you can ramp/draw into your clown then get a board state that they cannot interact with.

I think you already know the answer to this question. This game originated on PC and offered mobile as a secondary means of playing; over the years, that model has completely flipped and now we are looking at a mobile experience which allows you to play on your computer if you so desire.
Control style decks are not conducive to a mobile game play style model which needs to keep the player engaged for short bursts of time while they play on the train to work, a lunch break, taking a dump, etc. Control is dead and never coming back.

The one thing people always seem to conflate (imo) is lack of fun (for the opponent) vs. overpowered. A card can be no fun for the opponent but be rubbish, or it can be overpowered but not necessarily un-fun (faceless corrupter pre-patch springs to mind).
There's nothing fun for the opponent when you play Tickatus (once or multiple times). Sure - it might not win you the game (or it may help the opponent depending what it destroys), but the opponent can essentially do nothing about it, and they may lose right there and then depending on the deck they chose to play. If Tickatus decks consistently do moderately well, you can say goodbye to two whole deck archetypes – control and combo - as both are essentially auto-win for the Warlock.
Maybe they felt there needed to be a “counter” to the C’thun decks (which also have potential to fall heavily into the un-fun category imo). Problem is, there’s already a counter to C’thun decks and they’re called aggro decks.
The argument can always be made that Tickatus wont see play...too slow...yadda yadda. People made the same argument for glide as well (which is also a very un-fun card to play against). While that might be true, it also might not be true. No one knows - not even Blizzard, because they don't create the meta unless they print stupidly overpowered cards that warp the meta into a “deck - counter deck” situation (which is potentially what Tickatus will do if a viable deck can be found). If you’re a developer and you’re relying on that really un-fun card that you created not being played because you think you made it a bit rubbish, maybe you should re-think your design strategy. Just don’t print it and think up something else.
What I think you can say for certain is that the card is no fun to play against and imo there is no place for a card like this in Hearthstone.
A card game should be about decisions – what you put in your deck and how you play what you put in the deck. Tickatus removes both (one figuratively and one literally) and does so in a way that neither player can really influence. Not exactly a great combination in a game which already struggle with limited interaction between the players.
As he currently stands I agree with the suggestion he should also remove the warlocks cards as well. Maybe that would kill the card, and maybe that’s not a bad thing…
p.s As an aside I release the notion of fun/un-fun is very subjective, but if we assume that the very least you would like to use the cards you chose to put in your deck I think Tickatus ends up being un-fun.

Gz op. Would be interesting to know how many packs are opened a day on average worldwide. 1 million? I would wager that someone opens 'this pack' somewhere in the world at least every 2 days,

Anyone else just wish they'd give you the free deck and not waste your time on this shit?

The nerf on Alex was tiny. No one was running it pre nerf just because of the high roll of her adding a copy of herself to your hand. The swing potential is still enormous and I imagine will be relevant until she rotates out.

Waste of time. The obviously just don't want people getting massive dust refunds.

Its beatable but it pretty annoying that you have to put so many CC cards in your deck just to beat it. When people say 'just play this deck and farm it' thats fine and all, but I don't want to play hearthstone with the knowledge that I have to play 1 of 2/3 decks and all other decks are just going to lose 90% of the time to 1 class. It has just too many power/swing turns.
This whole expansion is built on swing turns though and as satisfying as it is when it happens for you, ultimately it's taking the skill out of the game. When you're 20 turns into a game, played past double battlecry quest turns, full power galakrond and Nithogg and an insane shudderwock gets played that you just can't answer it's pretty disheartening.

I don't know if I've just played people who played the deck badly, but my impression was how terrible flamewaker mage is. They just get 1 big turn where they do generally do a lot of dmg and clear the board, but then they've got an empty hand and I've got about 15hp left and a handful of cards. Then they concede.
I commend blizz for being brave and making such a massive move to shake up the meta, but I do think though that maybe they should have only added in class 'wild' cards and not the neutrals, or maybe just not added N'Zoth back in. The game feels like it did when Hadronox druid was king and that wasn't a good time.

Why would you even bother playing a game you hate?
2
Ok. Haven't watched the animation so if that's true I'm wrong. Nothing in the wording indicates this effect though.

Seems like a really fun card, but also a really slow turn without a body, and picking a worthwhile minion to shuffle is going to be tougher than it seems I think.

Love the artwork and direction Blizz is taking. When all the little edge lords grow up they'll realise that you can have fun without everything being covered in tits and viscera.
