They should have nerfed Tip the Scales, not Alura.

DeafKnight posted a message on Those of you who have been playing HS since the beginningPosted in: General DiscussionOh yeah! I loved playing a game where every other turn consisted of playing a useless vanilla minion that did nothing, and all games were effectively decided by who had the bigger board or who drew Leeroy Jenkins first.
Much strategy, Very design! There's a reason the game struggled and we in the early community were desperate for Naxx to finally come out after an eternity.
It's funny (and depressing) to see people who didn't experience all that, clamour about how much they want to bring back that meta. Ugh! -

OverholtNA posted a message on My honest opinion why duels is a failed gamemode currentlyPosted in: General DiscussionThe best thing I discovered about duels is that there's no turn/HP threshold for the quest, so you can concede the moment the game starts and knock out a "play 5 duels" quest in a few minutes.

Pherosizm posted a message on YoggChamp achievement - Why are people so... dumb?Posted in: General DiscussionDon't hate the player, hate the game, bro. You're attacking a lot of harmless civilians with those comments.
It's not our fault they made the achievement so difficult to trigger and it's nobody's responsibility to play along with what you're doing except yours.
So...

DeafKnight posted a message on RopersPosted in: General DiscussionQuote from DeafKnight >>They just hope to win with concedes by irritating.
Sounds like you're letting them succeed, too.
As is repeatedly the case, here - there is literally nothing wrong with roping for any reason whatsoever, whether it's trying to to figure out your next turn, how to deal with what's on the board or simply trying to annoy your opponent into conceding. These are all legitimate and valid reasons to take your whole allotted turn. You might as well get upset with people for playing cards you don't like or playing an aggro or combo deck etc.
The problem here isn't with them...We found us a normal player who doesn't cry about having to wait for others to play their way, congratulations. With football the referree will pul out a yellow card for wasting time. Wasting time intentionally to earn that tad bit of xp is just bad. Same like a mosquito sound when your trying to sleep, irritating.
Fixed it for you! XDDD
Not to mention that your football analogy (if you actually understood what the rule was for), is inherently flawed and actually works against your argument.
Referees will penalise for time wasting because there is a shared clock that both teams use. In hearthstone, the only time a player wastes by roping is their own. Their opponent can either suck it up like an adult, leave, or simply win the game faster.
It shows nothing but an obvious and immature bout of impatience to get upset about someone taking their time on their go. It's amazing that there are still people out there actually complaining about this as if it's some sort of problem! Lol! - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

There is a flaw in your plan.
Holy Mackerel has been removed from the minion pool.

No card should ever be nerfed in wild. If it's the game mode you choose to play, suck it up.

One of the sweeter things in HS is someone adding you as a friend after beating them and then pathetically trying to insult you before unfriending you again. Sweet, sweet nectar. As most people can barely stand to be emoted at though without getting tilted the chances of chat happening is about as much as Edwin being HoF'ed.

I love shaman class but it feels so toothless right now. I’ve resorted to even trying Pit Crocolisk in quest shaman just to try and get some sort of win condition. In the current meta big minions just don’t cut it, and that’s all shammy has.

Sounds like an interesting idea! I don’t mind otk decks as long as you’ve got to work for them and the deck has enough weaknesses to balance out the otk. I’m a big fan of MarkMcKz’s work.

Can you remember the last time you didn’t play a deck that either wasn’t in the top 5 on HSreplay or being played by Thijs that day? I’ve played plenty of games today and except 1 shaman deck I could tell you the deck list of every single one after they played the first card. Even played a few games in casual hoping to see some clever decks but all net decks.
I don’t know how blizz could encourage deck building again but they could make it so you never play the same class more than say twice in 10 games, even if it’s in casual. I understand that there are top tier decks and people who play those decks because they’re competitive, but there should be more options for people who want to play interesting games rather that the same priest, rogue and hunter decks that just play out the same way every single game.

I posted it in general deck building. I built a deck and wanted to talk about in generally, so wind your neck in and go back to licking the windows.

Well said and seconded. If you're boneheaded enough not to see that ActiBlizz is a giant evil corperation whose sole purpose is to make money and would monetize their own Mothers if they could then more fool you. Except for a tiny few skilled or long time players, F2P is the hook not the reality. I enjoy HS and don't really spend money on other games anymore so I made peace with our corporate overlords, but I am under no illusion that they're not, and never will be, in it for us. Infact, I'm suprised with just how generous they actually have been in the last 3 months.

Hard to say without know what other cards you have in youur collection. You can't really build a deck around any of them, except maybe Reno and then only if you have DQA and Zephyrs too. Plus, Kobold Stickyfinger?

I've not seen anyone here complain about the win rate of the deck. I don't care how many wins or losses a deck has, but when a deck is getting it's 3rd Dragonqueen alex even though it didn't even start with one it it's deck, or discovering the perfect spell on turn 15 through the 20th lackey played that game thats annoying. Rogue just has too many consistent feels bad' plays. At least face hunter is a well tuned deck that beats you fair and square, regardless of the way it does it.
