Seems rather meh IMO. Has just 1 more stat over Saronite Chain Gang, has a requirement and is a Legendary. It has some immediate board presence though, so probably pretty good.
The adventures had 5 Legendaries and Naxx had 6, but anyway, I would really like them to release four Hero Cards for the explorers. This is an amazing idea, dude. The Hero Cards could actually do some highlander stuff too. And there probably should be a Neutral legendary to keep the 5 Legendaies per adventure.
They should HoF some classic/basic cards that were nerfed and revert the nerfs. Cards like Mana Wyrm, Warsong Commander (giving only minions with 3 or less attack Charge, not all other friendly minions since that was OPAF) or Wild Growth won't be that oppressive in wild even with the nerf reverted.
Hearthstone has a newer, younger, more colorful look it.
What? That's not true, dude. Sorry, but you seem to be blind just like many others here, which is not a surprise to be honest. Most people understand absolutely nothing about art. Hell, they don't even know how to draw or paint the simplest figures... -.-
Why do you say that? While the old HS art might be much better than the new one, as I stated in my thread about Bronze Explorer recently, it is true that HS cards have a much more colorful, cartoonish look than they used to have. The OP is right.
You can check them all out on Hearthstone Wiki. But basically the only heroes that have some more of them are Deathwing and Sylvanas, most of them have 0-2.
I 100% agree with OP. I'm perfectly happy to play this card, and I accept that Hearthstone has lots of 'childish' art going on. But come on, it looks like Olaf from Frozen. It's not even shaped like any of the other dragons or whelps in the game. It has the characteristics of a drake, but the stature of a fat gnome with an enlarged head. Plus it's holding a map... with its Dragon hands?
I had a similar problem with a lot of the dinosaurs in Journey to Un'goro, especially in the trailer. They gave many of them big goofy heads and balloon-like cartoon bodies. Even some supposed adult ones looked like big toy babies. I let it go then and I will let it go now, there's nothing wrong with pointing there things out like OP has done.
Some of you are criticizing OP simply for having an opinion without offering any counter opinion on the games art. The "This is how it's always been in Hearthstone" response is just obvioualy wrong. I am of the opinion that people who genuinely LIKE the Bronze Explorer art have something wrong with them, perhaps they are furries. That's just my opinion, but whether you like the art or not the FACT is that it looks nothing like any other creature from Hearthstone or Warcraft. At least Azure Explorer seems to act like a baby Dragon in its art, even if it does look childish and cringe.
You can compare this to How to Train Your Dragon, a childrens movie with lots of cool looking dragons and also some cutesie, cartoonish ones. But if Bronze Explorer walked up holding a map in that movie with its big stupid baby head, I'd turn the movie off.
Some people also seem to be forgetting that when Hearthstone started off, while the art maybe "cartoonish" it was mostly more adult-themed. Many obvious art examples were only patched this year to keep the games child rating and sell the game to kids. Considering this I think it's entirely fair for veteran fans to point out "child-friendly" baby art that sacrifices anatomical details for boosts in server population that last about a day before the younger kids get bored and go back to Fortnite.

Should I continue? Because I'm pretty sure I still missed some... -.-
These cards have a) the flavor of the old WoW TCG, b) are humorous cards and need humorous art, like Leeroy or Annoy-o-tron. They might be a bit cartoonish, but nowhere near the ‚cartoonness’ level of Bronze Explorer.
Descent of Dragons brings many cool Dragons to the game. A giant Deathwing madly slamming into other minions, a time-manipulating Nozdormu, Veranus breathing acid at enemies. Not all of them are that flashy though. We have Evasive Wyrm, Cobalt Spellkin, Evasive Drakonid or Crazed Netherwing all being very cool. There are also Explorers - the adorable Azure Explorer, fierce Emerald Explorer...
And then, Bronze Explorer. This guy looks like if he was taken from a very childish cartoon. Since when do Dragons wear clothes? And his dumb voice... 'A good explorer comes prepared!' This also sounds like a cartoon character's quote.
All I want to say that the card feels extremely out of place and doesn't fit the game at all, even though Hearthstone's art has become a bit more cartoonish than it used to be.

Why is EVERY. SINGLE. BRAWL. BROKEN. Blizzard, seriously? These issues are coming back week after week. What’s wrong?

Like Rain of Toads, but bigger. Seems OK to find in a Discover.

I absolutely love the artwork. Well done Blizzard, after what you did to Bronze Explorer.

Hard to say which one is the best. I really like Valdris Felgorge.
The worst is definitely Bronze Explorer (I've made a thread why I dislike this card's art)

I really like Matt Dixon. His artworks fit both the old TCG's theme and the modern Hearthstone theme, perfectly fitting the game overall.

I still believe these are all on Hearthstone Wiki. You just need to find them.

New year, the same old RNG, the same great Hearthstone, the same potato PC, the same basement and the same imaginary girlfriend. Yay!

What do you think guys?

Just realized one thing that changed my life.
Imagine that you play any card that summons Treants. That means you have 2/2 Treants on the board.
Then you play Goru the Mightree. What are the stats of the Treants now?
TREE/TREE
...where are you going?
