This deck isn't made for any other meta outside of K&C's. I am a standard only player and am currently trying to refine this deck with the new standard rotation.
We use Abusive Sergeant for the same reason we have Leper Gnome. We aren't trying to maintain board later in game, but instead squeeze out the most damage we can in one shot.
It really depends. I would say like 75% of the time I hero power turn 2. However against certain decks such as aggro paladin, I will drop two 1 drop on turn 2. It just really is match-up dependent. I also sometimes use coin turn 2 into Duskhaven Hunter. There is also turn 1 drop 2 1 drops with the coin which I use quite frequently.
I'm not sure about the Mimic Pod, but am interested in seeing how it plays out for you. I think there are some draws in the deck you don't want multiple of.
I can understand removing Preparation and Sprint for other options. Finding the right means to draw is an issue I have been combating. Even with other the draw afforded to Rogue, it still doesn't feel like enough.
I just finished writing you a literal essay until my computer went dead on me. I don't feel like typing everything up again, but I will reply to the main points you made.
(1.) I never really viewed the Kingsbane package in this manner, but it is definitely great to conceptualize it in this way. I would have to disagree with completely removing them, but minimizing their impact as dead draws would be beneficial. Blade Flurry is great against aggro and control. Again aggro you just need a 1 attack weapon and are good to go, against control you have time to build a big Kingsbane. You just never want to run more than one Blade Flurry since you don't have enough weapon seeks for two. Doomerang, I think there is a lot of merit to going down to only one of them over two. Breaking it down in the way that you have makes me think that even with the swing potential of the card, it can be a dead draw without a buffed Kingsbane. So removing one allows to not be impacted by this card as heavily when it is a dead draw, but keeps the swing potential.
(2., 3.) Double Preparation and Sprint is more worth it when running Fal'dorei Strider. Yet, you still have to realize without Fal'dorei Strider, Sprint has no impact on the board and will lead to getting over-ran easily. This deck I think needs around 13-15 card draw to function. 15 being the ideal, if you can muster the slots. .
(5.) Mistress of Mixtures helps out against aggro and is terrible against Warlock / Priest. I have tried the card out extensively and went away from it since it negatively impacted by win-rate when looking at it across the board.
Thank you for your extensive comment! It definitely helped me consider other directions to improve this deck. I have taken a look at your list and it reminds me of a miracle rogue without Gadgetzan Auctioneer with a Kingsbane Package.
It is pretty insane how well Harrison Jones is working out in the current meta. I can see taking out Eviscerate over Shadow Strike. Shadow Strike is more efficient as removal currently. I am sticking with Eviscerate for now to help push for lethal late game, Eviscerate is more versatile.
I don't think any of the decks in the meta are brainless at this time. Just this deck takes a bit more of a brain. There have been meta's with much more brainless decks than now.
When you change that many cards in a deck, it becomes a completely different deck. Change a few cards 1-3 cards at a time to maintain the decks identity. These changes simply make the deck into a mill rogue, with a swash / patches start. It is a different deck all together.
Total Bro, I was 5 minutes away from quitting the climb too. I had New Years plans to attend. I think with that hand though it would of been a pretty good game.

I think Acherus Veteran probably will have a very similar impact as Abusive Sergeant. I can say it is awesome to take out Saronite Chain Gang with Abusive Sergeant on a 1att minion.

Kingsbane is a deathrattle which can be played multiple times.

True, Eboladin is fairly cancerous. It does take a brain to pilot effectively though. So much minion positioning.

Let me know how the Vanish works out. I can understand not liking the Preparation / Sprint combo. It is very feast or famine.

Thank you for the compliments, have an amazing day!

Sorry for all of the downvotes.

Thank you for the compliment and +1.
I don't play wild so I have no clue. I would have to go with most probably no though.
