The truth is that the salty people in this thread are jealous because they are unemployed or stacking shelves for the n'th year.

Haussenfuss posted a message on How trustworthy are the win% on HSreplay?Posted in: General DiscussionFWIW - Iksar has often cited HSReplays data when posting on the subreddit. Presumably, the data is pretty legit.
I'd advise not paying too much attention to the HSReplays homepage - overall class win-rates are essentially meaningless. Mike Donais was a guest on the Omni podcast about a year ago - he explained why class win-rates don't reflect game balance very well, since lots of people play good decks poorly, or simply enjoy playing shitty decks (his example was Mill Rogue - at the time, about 10% of the Rogue player-base was tanking the overall class win-rate by 2%, simply by playing the deck.) From the point of view of game balance, the devs don't look at class win-rates, and focus on whether or not each class and archetype are viable.
As far as Priest goes - if you look deeper at the numbers, about half of all Priest decks are Resurrect Priest. It has a win-rate just below 49%. All the rest of the Priest decks are as shitty as the OP seems to think, with win-rates bottoming out well below 40% - the net result is a class win-rate of 44%.

enoX_36 posted a message on Token Druid counterPosted in: General DiscussionAccording to hsreplay, token druid is very weak against: big druid, quest warrior and every warlock deck.
Other decks with good winrates against it would be: murloc/tempo mage, control/recruit warrior, even paladin, secret/midrange hunter, taunt druid, mecha'thun/control priest.
Pick one of these decks and go get them.

Sinti posted a message on Why is hearthstone so toxic??Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from BorgerKing >>In particular this forum... No one can have fun. Everyone is sarcastic and waiting to cut other people down even if they suggest a unique idea .I saw someone try to make flarks boomzooker a few days ago and asking for help. The first comment was, "no. No. No. This will never work." who I could tell didn't even read he deck list. Why are you like this.
Work together and stop being assholes to people you don't even know.
Sawtry just needed to get this off my chest.
Oh wait and mods need to also stop being assholes for the sake of assholes. You shouldn't be fueling toxic conversations or locking something you don't like.
YOU CHILDREN NEED TO STOP PLAYING GOD
Despite this poor starting point, the discussion is actually ok, so this can stay open for now, but you should probably take your own advice, if you want to do well in the future.

I feel sad looking at this prize pool. $3.5k for the winner not that good when you factor in flight costs, accomodations etc. The HCT points are probably worth more than that.

Unfortunately won't work as Deathwing would be in the battlefield.

It would be cool if they kept the effect very similar to the original C'Thun but this time with Mechs. Something like a 10 mana 6/6 that gets +1/+1 for each Mech played this game and the same Battlecry: Deal damage equal to this minion's Attack randomly split among all enemies.
It would probably be too powerful and I don't think there's enough space in the card itself to have both effects written, given that C'Thun seemed to almost max out the number of characters in a card. But a guy can dream.

Sites like HSReplay.net let you clearly see that there is indeed a meta that is always evolving, not only on a macro level but also within rank groups and even within ranks itself. The "autocorrection" of trying to pair favorable/unfavorable decks to maintain a 50% winrate overall might play a part in it but since different classes/decks have different popularity I'd assume it's effect is limited as the Blizzard algorithms can't always pair the matchup it "wants".

Peter Whalen confirmed on Twitter that Goblin Bomb is a collectable card. Hearthpwn will probably update it soon.

I think this card will find its way into both aggro and control decks but right away I can see this fitting perfectly into Big Spell Mage. In the early game Giggling Inventor creates a big speed bump to buy you time for your AOEs while also giving you targets to create Water Elemental in the late game. Great card overall.

While looking at the newly released cards from The Boomsday Project, I realized a potentially (very) scary combo in Wild for Warlocks with Glinda Crowskin, Mechwarper and any Mech with Magnetic costing 5 or less (e.g. Zilliax).
Available at turn 9 and without any prior setup besides having the 3 minions in hand, the combo is as follows:
Final result: a board with Glinda Crowskin, a Zilliax and 5 Mechwarper potentially buffed by several +3/+2 and Divine Shield, Taunt, Lifesteal and Rush. This probably allows you to fully clear your opponent's board, heal back to 30 health and threaten lethal the next turn. All from an empty board.
Am I missing something or is this just a crazy combo in Wild?
UPDATE: Peter Whalen from Team 5 just confirmed to me on Twitter that this combo does work as I expected. Very interesting.

Hey guys,
HSReplay.net just posted this image on their Social Media pages with the most played cards of the Witchwood expansion. They also have a drop-down list that is super interesting: http://bit.ly/2A0uBZN.
I'm curious how that compares with what the Hearthpwn community thought was going to be the most played/used cards before the expansion was released.
I for one expected Rotten Applebaum to find a spot in a lot of control decks, which was true to a certain extent right after the expansion was released but now has fallen out of favor for the most port. Another card I rated high early on was Witchwood Grizzly but it really just found a spot more recently in the meta. Shudderwock also looked like a very strong card right out of the gate but the rest I didn't see coming!
Any particular surprises? Which cards did you guys think was going to be super strong but was never played that much? Share below!

Great to hear it's been working out for you! Keep climbin' :D

Hey Mate, thanks for the comment. Not sure how this deck fares in Wild but I'm assuming it's not as good as in Standard due to more high-value taunts (e.g. Sludgebelcher) and healings (e.g. Reno Jackson) being present.
Power Overwhelming and Loatheb sounds like good options to test out.
