LOVE Exodia Pala. Still my favorite deck, even with a terribad winrate, but I've stopped caring about that.
Always looking for new additions with new expansions. I considered Mukla Tyrant of the Vale for additional 1-mana spells and board presence (perfect replacement for Bully and maybe 1 Blessing of Wisdom) and with TBP comes Crystalsmith Kangor! Bringing him with Call to Arms and following up with Spikeridged Steed sounds good on paper. I used a version more minion heavy, resembling old control pala, with Aldor Peacekeepers, Tarim etc. Maybe Kangor has a place in such build. Ever considered it?
Actually there are already some pretty successful “Barnesless” big priest you know? I think Gunnolf is one of the brains behind it but I may be mistaken. Check WILDHS site, there’s an article on it
I didn’t have luck with it at all. So many defensive decks in ladder. I even faced and Odd Lock, can you believe it? All defensive tools, removals and taunts until I got too salty and conceded at T4. You would enjoy the deck...
now changing subjects, don’t you have any deck with Shudderwock? Must admit I never even tried the card!
Can you tell us something about matchups and ladder viability of this deck? At least until rank 5, as I'm desperately trying to reach this floor for the golden epic... Feelsbadman
Healing is not just against aggro guys, this card can kill burn decks like Control Priest or Freeze Mage. Card seems fine for some control Paladin.
Wut?
How on Earth. I mean in wild vs FreezeMage ok ,although I’d say Rag Lightlord is the overall better card( plus this is easy to remove while Rag tanks for at least 8 additional dmg) and I doubt you could find room for this card.
In Priest... were do I start. First , besides silence effects it is super easy to remove for Priest, two pings with DK Anduin and Byebye.
Second how good is healing , when Priest heals several times for 40 while pinging your face and stealing your Deck....
Third, it’s a nice target to steal with their Cabal , and if it works like Velen it could even double their dmg.
Control Paladin just isn’t a thing if you have no way of killing your opponent.
Ever heard of Uther of the Ebon Blade? Dont ask me about standard by in Wild it’s a very fun deck and pretty viable. AND this little guy (mounted on a steed) goes right into it
Goes into Exodia Paladin feat. Call to Arms at 5 (bringing this, Annoy-O-Trons and/or Righteous Defenders protecting him) followed by Spikeridged Steed at 6!
Enough healing and stall for days, together with tons of board clears, until I draw my combo pieces for the OTK (Beardo, 1 mana spells or coins and Thaurissan). Plays more or less like combo Druids, Kingsbane rogue etc but immune to giant armors or anything else (besides a whole lotta fun). Whoever’s interested in the list, just ask
Hey Spark, I was hoping you would find a good deck for Dire Frenzy, have you tried it?
EDIT: Nevermind, I just found your Recruit Hunter recipe in twitter. Too bad I'm more of a Wild player. I was looking for a more traditional beasty midrange hunter of old.
Hey Gunn did you try the warrior DK here? He's a great board control tool or potential 12 dmg to the face, even though you don't have any whirlwind synergies. Maybe adding the DK and Grom would give you that finisher the deck is lacking against control decks that manage to stabilize in the late game.
This deck reminds me of how much fun I used to have running C'thun decks back when WoToG came out and that makes me super happy! On top of that, it works quite well and has an excellent curve! I really recommend it, you won't regret it :D
Here's a video showcasing the deck in action, I hope you enjoy!
Sorry but playing this at rank 25 is no way indicative of the deck's viability...
It's a very fun deck (except for the mirror match, which is the most boring thing EVER).
I'd like to ask people who are playing this deck. What do you think about including 1 or 2 Starfall to combo with Poison Seeds for removing big boards. The deck has few means of removing a full board of 2/2s besides Spreading Plagues. I was using this combo in my Maly Druid with great success.
I say that because frequently I Poison Seeds their board but end up taking a lot of dmg from the 2/2s if I can't remove them fast. Starfall can even be a good standalone board clear against Pala/Even Shaman sometimes. Maybe cut Innervate of Fandral for 1 of it...

So Barnes is not the biggest problem

Fits nicely in Exodia Pala, my fav deck (draws tar creeper, stonehill, acolyte, etc) while thinning your deck for finding combo pieces quicker!

I applause when I lose to Exodia Mage or Paladin, because frankly, they reserve the win!
My favorite deck is Exodia Pala, even having 30% WR at rank floors :DD

Fandral followed by Nourish IS game winning man. Have you ever played druid seriously?

Baku hunter, no doubt. 5 min games and >50% winrate
