I might have paid just about 50$ ( not much) but I am seriously considering switching to another CCG/TCG
Yup, switch over to MtG where you need a 300$ deck just to play at your local shop, which will be worth ~50$ after rotation.
Or switch over to Yu-gi-Oh where people are essentially throwing money on the table and the one who throws the most wins.
You could even switch to a browser or app-based CCG where there are paywalls for unlockable cards that read "you win" in a more complicated manner.
Your best option though is NetRunner, which only costs 5$ a month, but you'll find about 10 people to play with in a 100km radius.Every card game tries to get money out of you. This is not a move towards that direction, but if you feel like that then go ahead and switch. -

But I'm playing both decks so I'll have hard data as to which one performs better! :)

Competitive spirit needs that. It is like an enterprise. If you want to see some income, you need to give a payment. Time or money. Make your choice.

But like i say above. You can always enjoy with your free ways. Like I am doing.
I don't want to spend real money for this game so I am playing it non-competitively. Just play and enjoy. Noone forces you to climb ladder.
Also you can't judge Blizzard for their marketing strategy. They are making and supporting this game for making money, not for your joy. It is a company. I hope that you know what company means. -

Salut Jerome et bienvenu!! Siegfrieddo, beta player here.
I suppose you and your crew must be really overwhelmed by all this! You probably know it, but let me reinforce it, you guys have a jewel in your hands. An awesome community, tons of great material and a great forum - courtesy of the amazingly talented previous caretakers of the site and the people that keeps it alive - the community. Please don't forget that. Keep the site clean, fast, bug-free an up-to-date but more important than that (to me at least): be a cool and participating boss or give us some cool people for that - community managers).
I'll keep my suggestions coming as I remember them. The 1st one that comes to mind dates from an ancient forum I used to visit daily in my early teens (don't even remember the theme...): foreign languages sub-forum. I loved that so much because we could form smaller, cosier, friendlier communities speaking our own language. I usually don't have the opportunity to discuss HS in my language (PT), nor do I know many players from my country. A foreign language sub-forum could do that. I'll actually consider opening a Thread on that asking for people's opinions, so the subject remains more visible.

Come on man, take it easier on them! Imagine the mental pressure, disputing a prize of 250k with all that insane RNG going on! I gotta say it was the most fun I ever had watching a HS tournment! Rafaam is so crazy and an awesome addition to Warlock. Control shaman also very fun!

I like Odd Rogue better, but it's probably just me. Meta reports place this one ahead of it (3rd game in the video below shows just that)

Shaman is the only one I don't have at lvl 60. It's also the farthest from golden portrait...
