I'd like Novice Engineer nerfed, it's just too op and broken, a 2 mana draw card is just too good in agro and combo decks, should cost 3 mana imo. I can't stand losing to mages all the time, wth??? this card is honestly broken af. Like if you agree.

I do not agree at all mate.
As far as I know Novice Engineer was already nerfed. I think it was a 2-1 before or something like that.
2 mana draw a card is not really powerful. You have somehow the same with Bloodmage Thalnos and Loot Hoarder.
Call to Arms  and Mana Wyrm are quite strong I think.
     Sarcasm.. :p

    WHERE IS NOOBLOCK?

Good point. Because so many people played it, then the reaction of the meta was that an equal amount of players counter it, so yeah... It pretty much isn't a good deck in the current meta.

posted a message on Opinion: Team 5 is killing hearthstone (unintentionally...)

First of all, I'd like to explain that this comes from a POV of loving hearthstone (allot) and wanting it to continue being successful. To me, I feel like there are a few things that team 5 do really badly, and they're causing, at least for myself, the disinterest in hearthstone, as time goes by, and I'm wondering if anyone can relate. The things are:

    * Being late at responding to their player base via ACTIONS: I think people will find this to be the most apparent thing. Throughout the whole existence of hs, its developers always took their time with making game-changing decisions, to the point where they ALWAYS waited for the community to get REALLY frustrated, before they took any action. I've got a really simple question for this: Why? Why not prevent problems before they become unbearable for the community? Or, at least make changes before things get out of hand... I feel like they're relying too much on their raw data of what people are playing and win rates, and less on what's going on, on forums, everywhere. Although I do believe they're starting to learn, on that part, because they have stated that what people dislike the most is their most important factor into making changes, BUT it is still done WAY too late for anyone to be really content, and for people to be really discontent for a way too long time period.

    * They're making meaningless content. Expansions are great, balance changes are great, events are great (but should happen much more often), tavern brawl is meh and dungeon runs are simply nice. The reason the dungeon runs are just "nice" is because they are simply a waste of time. YES, I know many people will say that something should be done purely for the enjoyment of it, but my counter argument is that when we're doing something, simply for the enjoyment, at least we should feel like the time we're spending is valuable. Usually, when people do something purely for their own enjoyment, is either because they must, or because, let's say, they're helping someone they love. But playing doing something, purely for enjoyment, through a digital card game - that doesn't feel to me like my time is valuable, if I choose to spend it that way. I want a sense of accomplishment, that is why I am a gamer, for the sense of accomplishment that games give, not ONLY for the pure fun of it, because my time is valuable to me. Maybe there should be monthly rewards for the amount of wins we have achieved in dungeon runs? That way the system can't be taken advantage of and also we don't feel like our time is not wisely spent.

    * The game is becoming a bit too expensive. Of course, that is not team 5's fault, but it is a strong reason why I don't see myself playing this game In the long run. Yes, in order to reach legend, you can be f2p, manage to craft a tier 1 deck and head there, but what if you want to experience the deck building, the creative aspects of the game? You can't, you need most of the collection to do that, and with rotations every year and no adventure content anymore, it is just simply too expensive, at least for me, to experience THAT side of this card game. I wish time invested in this game would be more rewarded with gold/packs, because every moment I choose to spend on this game, is a moment I'm not doing anything else in with my time, that should be of value, in and of itself, and I want to be able to experience the deck building and creative aspect of this card game in the long run, and not have to pay too much money for it. What if, for every 10th hour of playing, we get 500 gold? That way, people who invest allot of time on hearthstone, and LOVE the game, can also feel like they're being properly rewarded for it, and not HAVE to be drawn to the financial aspect of it. Caring players should be rewarded, imo, by the game developers, and those who spend less time than that on the game, can simply buy packs, respectively.

    * Lastly, the game's mechanics so far are just not complex enough. I've no problem with RNG as that also requires strong adaptive capabilities by players (except in arena), but the key words and mechanics in this game are just from one thing directly to another, there are no conditions, no sophisticated transactions, just "summon this, do that, etc", I mean, come on "If your deck has X" is not complex at all, and feels much too simple. Team 5, imho should start focusing on the players that have played this game for at least a few months now, because there are way more of them playing than those who just started, I'm sure of it. Also, it would definitely help the closeness of strong players and weak players, on ranks 25-10, because newer players will find it harder to play complex cards, thus the experienced ones will advance more up the ladder, respectively, because they will have more deck building options that new players just don't understand. This also follows team 5's philosophy that the basic and classic sets should be simpler than the newer ones.

Guys, this is not a hate thread or even a complaint thread, it's simply a feedback thread from my own POV. You're free to agree or disagree, but please control yourselves with the name calling.

Thank you, everyone, for reading. :)

posted a message on Hearthstone Needs More Game Modes - What New Modes Could They Create?
    Quote from Fluxflashor >>

We asked for comments, you didn't provide anything constructive so... why not?

Okay, you'd like a constructive comment, here it is: Please add 2v2 and tournament mode, as they are unquestionably the most requested game modes on hearthpwn for hearthstone, as additional two options
Flux, this thread could've been WONDERFUL if you didn't include the poll. We're all always happy to see new ideas and pitches, but when you make an official poll that doesn't at all include what YOUR community wants most, it feels a bit wrong, imho..

posted a message on Hearthstone Needs More Game Modes - What New Modes Could They Create?

This thread is pathetically subjective. I don't know who came up with these two modes that I haven't seen any HS player really asking for.

Why isn't 2v2 there as a poll option? Why isn't TOURNAMENT MODE there as a poll option?

It seems to me like these are the options that Blizzard told you to ask us, as if we're given any choice in the matter. It is obvious that if you cared about what the player base and your forum users actually want, you'd at least include these two options in the poll, as they were undoubtedly the most voiced request for game modes, at least on hearthpwn, ever.
