Meanwhile paladin gets more heals and weapons instead of more board clears, so we don't have to use the single board clear we've ever used since the creation of hearthstone: Equality + pyro/consecration.....
I think something people are simply wrong about is the fact that giving your opponent worthless minions is actually good for the priest. I personally think that a good amount of the times, this card will give minions to your opponent that would simply make their deck and draws worse, than better. So the fact that this adds them to your opponent's deck and not your's is actually an advantage. Most of the minions in Razakus priest are strictly good for Razakus priest, so giving them to your opponent will actually help the priest and is an advantage.
I feel like this is an untapped huge potential for hearthstone. I think* people love cards that they can build or modify themselves, such as the two examples above. The main reason they don't see play is due to power level, but I'm talking about fun at the moment.
I think it's a super fun mechanic to modify your own cards like that, and if Blizzard implemented more cards such as these, it would simply make hearthstone a better game.
As for viability, that's a completely different topic. Of course they can make cards such as these powerful if they wanted to, so I'm focusing more on the fun aspect in this thread. Of course, reply as you wish though ^_^
So what do you think? Could this mechanic of "building"/customizing your own card make hearthstone a better game, or not?
This card is just obnoxiously powerful and I'd just like to make this prediction that Blizzard will nerf it soon after the expansion lunches due to overwhelming negative criticism from us about it. I guarantee you, that will happen.
Why, of all classes, did my beloved paladin class get to be the "murloc" class....? :,(
And a little side rant: It also kinda suck that we got the worst death knight by far..... :(( (also right before an expansion that adds legendary weapons........ :((
I have a quick question about bittertide hydra as well.
Is it really that good of a choice given it hurt you, do you just use it for a finisher or something? I was thinking of running 2x cobal scalebane instead of it.
what do you guys think?
PS: I am also thinking about popping leeroy jenkins in there just because I tend to add him to agro decks as added burst to trade or for finishers. I guess if he was that good in the deck though, I'd have seen him in one by now on here.
thinking about it, I think Scalebane could be better in that deck than Hydra. Regarding Leeroy, this is more of a zoo deck, not so much as aggro like past face hunter of pirate warrior, so I don't think it's a very good addition to this deck. :)
More decks 2 play with Y´shaarj but with all the new dragons incoming maybe deathwing dragonlord will be more worth it for this expansion but as of right now I´d say Y´shaarj
I hope there is a card that give Paladin Hero Taunt effect, maybe in form of Weapon Card? This way he can lose enough HP to get healed and activate Blackguard. Giving the Hero Taunt also protect your minion so they can be buffed safely without worries of minion trade. I think Paladin can outlast the damage he take early on with many of his healing card.
I'm okay with the Dev focusing Paladin on Healing and Silver Hand Recruit mechanic, but please no more Murloc please.
The way I see paladin, and also the way the class is portrayed in WoW, is that it's a "courageous" and "heroic" like class, with heals, and epic skills and abilities. But for some reason, team five decides to take it in the rout of zoo and many small minions.
Of course every pally main has his/her own liking to this class and I don't disrespect any opinion, I just personally highly dislike this "zoo" theme that paladin is getting...
Where is dragon paladin? Where is taunt paladin? Where is the weapon identity of this class? All the weapons its getting support a zoo playstyle, except for (partially) its basic Truesilver and Ashbringer, which comes off Tirion. WHY ARE THEY TAKING THIS EPIC, HEROIC CLASS, to the direction of zoo and meaningless buffs and MURLOCS???
Please pard my frustration, it's just that this is a class I love so much and in my (personal) opinion, they're just taking it into directions that baffle me.
