I loathe Murlocs aesthetically and Jade druid has invalidated Control Paladin for over a year now so...It's been reeeeeaaaaaallly hard to keep playing lately. Honestly if it weren't for Big Easy Druid existing (Druid is my second favorite class but god do I HAAAAAAATE Jade for what it's done to the game) I'd have quit week one of KotFT and never come back. I miss old-school midrange Pally with Muster and Minibot :( you could even play it while all those asshats where abusing secret pally.
I agree. Jade druid has utterly ruined any chance for "regular" control decks to have any chance. Blizzard are not smart to not change it and not only that, they gave Jade druids more tools to be more powerful, while paladin, on the other hand, just got random stuff that doesn't make sense to anything earthly...
As someone else said, now that we've seen all the cards, it feels to me like they're just throwing cards for paladin instead of giving a good amount of thought as to what interesting strategies might be and could be developed. There's zero sense in the cards they made, it's just random stuff that each card applies to, I really don't feel much thought was given to the paladin cards this expansion. /:
The Game Menu will now display ‘End Game’ instead of ‘Concede’ and clicking it will tie the match.
WTF we can't lose ranks now? Whenever we see we're about to lose, just hit "end match" and you won't lose a rank???? I mean I'm happy but isn't that unbalanced? /:
That's the biggest change in this expansion, to the whole game, if you ask me...
Lol well I'm at least happy my comment made some people laugh haha, but ye I really do deserve those dislikes haha :p
The majority of Midrange hunter is from the basic set.
The reason for that being that a lot of hunter's Basic/Classic set is REALLY good. Animal Companion, Savannah Highmane, Kill Command, Houndmaster are all cards that outclass everything at that mana cost, and Eaglehorn Bow and Tundra Rhino are pretty close to that. Hunter has survived for years (especially at lower ranks) on its classic and basic core cards and will continue to do so.
Actually it's because the team working on hearthstone prior to team 5 had intended hunter to be a generally aggro class, so they made its basic set and hero power one that supports that playstyle. But then team 5 took over and since then they tried to make hunter, which had its basic card set tuned for an aggro class - a control class...
So that's why newer cards for hunter usually don't see competitive play, because the newer cards don't mashup with the basic set.
blizzard is slowly resorting to the tactics of less reputable game companies. when they try hard to make good content but it ends up falling flat, over and over it drives players away, the devs dont understand what went wrong because of how much work they put in, then they think the game is declining. so in response they raise costs somewhere to recoup their profit which in turn, drive MORE players away. But if company's just... you know... MADE GOOD CONTENT and competed with their opponents better maybe their players wouldnt be getting poached by other games, and genres. Blizzard is trying to be the Amazon of gaming without delivering the same flawless quality. Right now theyre still the titan of the gaming industry but if this trend continues their grasp is going to slip
You make people who build their own decks (like myself) look bad, OP.
Oh yeah? The whole three decks? Are you really comparing me to your "Swap King" deck?
I wasn't referring to deck's success lol. I was referring to how you display your deck. I wasn't even talking about the deck I've posted here, I was speaking about original deck builders in general.
It's obvious that you're just fishing for upvotes, and I'm VERY happy to see that it didn't work out as you planned.
So far, it looks like Priest will be a tier 0 class. Not just due to Psychic scream, but temporus is an extremely dangerous and underrated card. It's essentially a meta defining, win condition granting card. Prepare to see it in all priest decks, not just dragon decks.
I think it's a good idea that every person would see his or her username highlighted or colored differently, in all aspects of the forum. Meaning that every person's username would be highlighted only for their screen, while everyone else will remain the same color as usual. I hope I'm conveying the meaning well enough.
For quality of life purposes.
Edit: For example if I look at my own username at the forums, it would be highlighted just for me, because I'm the one logged into this account. And for another person who's logged into his/her account, they'd see their own username highlighted in their screen, whilst everyone else stay the same.

Better than hungry dragon, but still unplayable.

Also Paladin's single source to gain spells through RNG is the Ivory knight - the worst class to have this card, got this card.... -_-
