Yeah most of the cards (that are no hemet, rhinos or 1drops) can be changed and build a more aggro or control oriented deck.
As it is right now the deck is designed thinking about the combo aspect (for fun), card cycle to look for hemet. But sincerily I don't think this exact list will work. IMO a more aggro deck which Curves in 3 other than rhino and hemet should be the way to go, this can result in not needing hemet and playing Carnassa on turn 5 for a lot of tempo, and actually with all the fuel that the raptors give, (in case you draw hemet later) having a dead card in hand should't be a big deal. But trust me if you happen to have hemet on 6 and your quest completed or nearly completed (with 2 1-drops in hand) it's so much burst and instant board control, go for the combo!!!!. You don't have to kill the opponent in 1 turn remember that you get 15 raptors and the opponent will have to clear them turn after turn.
If the meta ends up being taunt heavy you can actually play a more control oriented build with 1-drops obviously but with removal such as Hunter's Mark, Kill Command or the new spell which all happen to cost 3 or less, perfect!
2 gadgetzans and 2 sprints is way too overkill. at the very least, get rid of the sprints for the new 3 mana "draw a card and a copy of that card" spell.
i didn't want to put both i meant 2 gadg. or 2 sprints
Hey, after seeing all the cards and thinking about Rogue possible decks (I just play rogue) I've seen pretty nice quest decks that carry elementals as the 4 minions generator.
While thinking about a list i would like to try out I asked myself the next question:
- How many minions/spells should your deck have in order to decide if it's more worth having gadgetzan auctioneer or sprint in the deck?
Miracle decks right now have around (+/-1) 15 minions/ 15 spells
Since conceal is moving to wild maybe it's another reason to move from the auctioneer draw engine?
the best list i've seen so far! Having auctioneer in the deck really makes me sad... playing the same way since LoE. But i guess that is what you have to do if you want to win with rogue.
2 trackings, 2 loot hoarder, 2 coldlight oracle + firefly (2 1-drops) + jeweled macaw potential rng. If you go for the hemet combo you should play carnassa by turn 7 if you played hemet on 6 so completing the quest will not be a problem.
The problem might be surviving until then and ofc drawing Hemet...
That's what i guess atm too. But, until a meta stablishes we will not be sure about if this deck viable or not. Although the combo concept i think its really powerful and must be considered when building future decks. Myabe the way to go is more aggro or more control oriented we can't be sure right now.
It's pretty good for completing the quest two 1-mana minions for card slot and you get it inmediatly in hand. If you want to play Stampede probably you should change most of the deck and go full 1 mana beasts. However, i 've always disliked that kind of heavy rng decks.
Stampede is cool though i've been thinking about a kind of miracle hunter where you would play stampede as it was a gadgetzan auctioneer.
You die to a pirate warrior by turn 5 so you will not even play your quest reward, n0 5/5. And playing coldlight oracle means you will have no chance against any aggro deck. Little to no comeback cards, no defense. Fun to play but not really competitive, we must wait to see all the cards and refine the deck from there.
I had a similar sort of deck in my mind. You could add in Argent Squires or Abusive Sergeants until we know what other 1 drops we will get. Also Scavenging Hyena seems to synergize great with this deck, so I will tech two of them in in place of Animal Companion. Even as a follow up to a Fiery Bat or Alleycat, it's already a 2 mana 4/3. Combos with Rhino aswell.
Yeah at the moment we must wait to see the 2 good 1 drops that they will introduce .

Combine it with Tundra Rhino which you will always have at least 1 of in your hand after playing hemet.

What about cutting the pirate package and adding a second SI:7 and Tol'vir Stoneshaper?

Malygos rogue can't be played without thaurissan. The lasher might be good in a wild list
