2 damage for 3 mana is terrible, so bringing it up to 3 makes it usable. In addition, by changing the restore health effect to "equal to the damage you dealt," it enables spell power to heal you more. This is actually really useful in basic warlock, as spell power warlock is one of the better basic variants. Not to mention having a deal three heal three would be great in Reno.

RandomScribbles posted a message on WCDC Season 4 Finale - Mini Comp #5 (Submission)Instead of a token Boar, she summons the actual Stonetusk Boar. It's still a 3/4 for 3 with a divided body, but now part of that package has initiative to help win the early game or provide a ping.

A different take on our old friend Sludge Belcher. Less sticky of a minion in exchange for more power on death, so long as you have a board to go with it. Extra synergy with N'Zoth, since the Champion protects him, and then, on death, buffs him up, or any other minion he brought back. 5/7 body after all's said and done? Eh, s'aright. 7/8? Much more threatening.

Basically this is Sludge Belcher's son. Belcher was a very good deathrattle anti-aggro card that didn't receive any replacement in subsequent expansions so here you go.
The Gelkis are a centaur tribe in WoW capable of summoning earth elementals.

Zence posted a message on WCDC Season 4 Finale - Mini Comp #3 (Submission)Keeping it nice and simple, combines two strengths of Potential N'Zoth Shaman decks.
1.) Shaman can play big minions very quickly.
2.) N'zoth fills your board with minions very quickly.
Keep the pressure on your opponent mid-game and late-game to secure a controlled victory!

Asylum_Rhapsody posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.20 - FINAL POLLPosted in: Fan CreationsThis was an interesting week. Fewer participants because of the holiday, I think, and also probably because the theme was a more derivative one rather than something folks could immediately identify with, but I think it was a fun way to end the season. I have a few questions/comments/critiques about some of the cards.
Stormwind Phalanx: I think this is probably my favorite card this week. I think it made great use of its keyword both mechanically and thematically, and it's believably simple while still offering unique tactical options. If I have a complaint, it's that I think the card text is unnecessarily long; "until your next turn" I think would have been sufficient, no need got "the start of".
Cowardly Mercenary: I can't tell how this is supposed to work. Having "Defend: Stealth" runs into the same problems we had during our Enrage competition where we had folks trying to do stuff like "Enrage: Stealth" or "Enrage: Divine Shield". Those keywords to not play well together in any intuitive way, and while I think I get what you intend for this to mean, it's just too muddy for me.
Anubisath Crusher: This is brilliant. I think it could have maybe just been one card rather than two so it wouldn't be as swingy, but the concept of the Defend altering the parameters of the Deathrattle so that it benefits a different player is one that I think is interesting. The only thing that bothers me about this is that I wonder whether the Defend keyword would really be the best way to express this mechanically. I'm not sure, but I voted for this anyway.
Grimestreet Brawler: Already we have the anti-Jade-Golem tech incoming! I'm not entirely convinced this is a good idea, but I think using an Echo is not a bad way to go with this effect theoretically, and the card also definitely works very well thematically with the Gadgetzan expansion on the horizon. Also, I'm also admittedly a sucker for good beefcake in card art.

Grats to winner. cool concept. Almost skipped this week until I came up with possession. Happy it was received well. Probably needed some tweaking but id love to see something like that in the future.

So for example Dread Infernal would turn you into
Its basically a little healing and damage with a chance to abuse a battlecry if left unchecked. So for cost based it off Holy Fire. It could probably cost less (6?) because its conditional but I figured the flexibility and chance of abuse called for 8 mana.
Edit: fixed a typo

Solid round of changes.
They even tackled some of less complained about ones proactively which is great too.
Case to be made Fiery War Axe is missing tho. That card is bonkers.

Edit: Image link broke somehow. repaired it.

Much the same as Discover finds class cards 4x more often. Beguile will be 4x as likely to choose any class cards revealed from your opponents hand. Like joust, cards are only revealed temporarily and you'll be able to check the revealed cards by hovering Beguile in the history sidebar.
