So imagine a game between Druid and Rogue. It comes a round, that druid does that - Brann Bronzebeard. 8/8, 9/9, 10/10. 11/11. And then passes his turn after trading his minions to yours. After that you're the Rogue, you either play the same big dudes, pass and lose the game, because 30 health is nothing after this expansion kicks in, or concede, because you can't even deal with 2 of those minions.. no freeze, no aoe, no damage, nothing. Uhg..

You have the option to not attack and let him destroy enemy's small minions, or attack and take out a single large threat. Compare to normal Rag, his raw power doesn't increase, but he is more versatile.
Update: Corrected the texts in card.

A defensive card for Grimy Goon classes. with enough handbuffs it can become very powerful.

nurgling13 posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.20 - Discussion TopicPosted in: Fan CreationsHere are my ideas so far:
Bide is a combo starter that does nothing the first time you play it, but a lot later on. Is it too powerful the second time? Maybe 2 golems? Investment Racket requires the initial investment of a card from your hand for a large payout later. Mind Prove lets you know exactly what is in your opponent's hand each time you play it. But the second time, you get to choose a card you don't want them to play next turn.

Another Card for miracle rouge. First time you use this its a very underwhelming spell, 1 damage. but once the second is drawn its a 1 Mana Assassinate. Very strong.

Oskywan posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #4.19 - Submission TopicInspire is my least favourite keyword, so I thought it could be more interesting by flipping it the other way around; dissuading the enemy from using their hero power. The enemy will think twice before summoning totems, getting armour, dealing damage, etc.
Edit: Changed pic size

New keyword:
Unchain: This effect triggers whenver the minion is brought into play without being played.
So, p.e. this will trigger with stuff like Barnes, Nzoth, Ressurect, Madam Goya, Deathlord, Shredder, etc
So, the main thing about Unchain is to create funky decks that works around that mechanic. From simple stuff like ressurect and/or nzoth to more complicated like barnes copying and shadowstepping him back and etc. The cards I've posted are kinda basic, and I do think that having cards that trigger when they aren't played can be a lot of fun. Look at silverware golem, sooo satisfying getting that and I find myself always trying to maximize my way of playing to get it out for free, and etc.
Even though my examples only contain 1 deathrattle. I do envision a LOT of those cards having deathrattle effects, if only to make the Unchain effect more accesible. Given though that priest's ressurect comes earlier, it needs a bit of care to not have that many neutral deathrattle minions with strong Unchain effects: Getting the extra value 3-4 times/card due to mutiple ressurects followed by nzoths will be kinda broken.
Edit: Fixed the formatting and changed Horde's deathrattle (the actual keyword remains the same). I don't think that rogue needed the extra card generation old deathrattle, he already has plenty of ways to produce copies of the same card, like shadowcaster or gang up and etc.

This an interesting one because a few of my first thought have already been submitted. Wonder if its a sign of communal mind or something else...

@Fluxflashor
Your not presenting it as such. Its presented much more definitively. Its a pinned article with fancy layout. "Intial impressions" or similar lingo isnt used anywhere.
Seems like something that would be better served after every ones played with, and against, all the the cards. Halfway through release isn't the best time to get informed results. This is more a what your favorite so far or initial impressions. I imagine not much different from when we first saw the spoilers. Guess it has a place and Im sure it makes sense from a webmasters perspective. Gotta strike while the buzz is hot.
Edit: added sentence about first impressions. re @ argentumemperio think total biscuit would review a game before he's played it

(As smart as the community is) seems kinda silly to rate the cards before every one has had a chance to play with, and against, them.

Tempo Weapon for rouge. Takes Rouge in a ramp Druid direction but unique in that its a trade of mana now for mana later and theres a condition to getting it. Might make for an interesting theme going forward. Obviously miracle rouge could make use of this as well.

Edit: for clarity, once its in play the hp wouldnt change/heal from transformations. It does gain the stealth or divine shield tho. Also it doesnt change into the same form twice in a row. Example, two spells wouldnt give it divine shield twice it would just stay as that transformation.

Rhapsody inspired me to make a simpler card. Tho I dont think this ones exciting enough to win a competition.

Looks like something a bunch of 8 year old girls would come up with at craft time.
