posted a message on I need an intervention. Stop me from doing Razakus.

Long-time priest sympathizer who enjoys a good control game. Occasionally play N'zoth in wild.

Every once in a while I look at the priest legendaries and wonder what it's like to play that highlander deck. However, I usually then remind myself what a bunch of oozing, syphilitic dickholes those guys are when you're playing against them. When you craft Raza and Anduin, does it also leech away your soul? Does that relieve the syphilis in some way?

Kidding aside, is it a fun deck? Seems like it might be, if a little inconsistent.

I think it might be as shitty to play against as mill rogue and freeze mage, but this is the first genuinely evil deck that has tickled my fancy.

    Thoughts?

posted a message on Your frozen throne BUFF wishlist!

I hope they buff [card]Phantom Unicorn[ /card]! That card is awesome, but a little under-powered. If anything is likely to get the buff, that's it, though.

Come on, BB! Give PU the respect she deserves!

    Hey, FitzChivalry.

I sent a friend request to commend you on having a cool gamertag, not to gloat or criticize you.

Sorry that Ultimate Infestation is so busted, I guess.

Anyhoo... Priest is cool. Best of luck to you!

I got 7 copies of Shadowblade lol.

     I got 8 of them + 3 golden... Something's fishy.
Also 7 for me. No golden, though, so that'll be 100 dust. I also got 6 Bone Drakes. Ah well.

posted a message on Toshley, Sneed's, or Piloted Sky Golem?

The card I am probably replacing in the deck is Ysera. She's just in there as an alternative win condition, and has no synergy with the rest of the deck.

I like Toshley because he is cheap and has a good body for priest. I don't like his style/flavour, though. Some dude with guns? The spare parts are alright. You can usually make good use of them.

Sneed's is the coolest here. It's under-statted, but for a reason. If it drops a really good pilot, that could win the game for you. Worst case scenario is Shifter Zerus, I believe.

Sky Golem is also cool and sticky, but man, can it ever fuck you these days. That little skeleton prick and Ticking Bullshit will fuck up your board state and then get a chance to do it again if N'zoth decides to bring them back.

    Haven't really considered adding Lyra.

posted a message on Let's talk about Freeze Shaman

I can't see myself crafting a single card for this archetype. If I get Moorabi from a pack, then maybe I will toy around with it.

This fucks with pirate warrior a bit, but I expect it to get wrecked by minion-based aggro. Everything is too pricey for early-game efficiency.

Stick with evolve and jade/elementals, I say.

posted a message on Toshley, Sneed's, or Piloted Sky Golem?

Thinking about sprucing up the old N'zoth control. These are the only good deathrattle minions I haven't bothered with yet.

Don't want to hear about standard or waiting for KFT. Fuck that shit. Wild is where the party's happening.

Does Toshley, Sneed's Old Shredder, or Piloted Sky Golem give you the best value/most fun?

Shredder and (especially) Golem seem like they can screw you over on occasion. Anyone have experience with this?

Edit: I play this deck in priest, though I toy with the idea of also having it for shaman and paladin as well.

posted a message on New Hero Revealed: Thrall, Deathseer

I would probably be aiming for turn 7, after the Doppelgangster + Evolve turn. Boost your survivors to 8s, and then use your hero power to get rid of Anomalus.

Why win when you can win more?

posted a message on Crafting Regrets? Triumphs? What were your best and worst?

I finally have a crafting regret! The Caverns Below was fun for about a week, when the core build was still unsettled, but then it quickly became boring as shit. Fuck quest rogue.

I get my dust back soon! Perfect miscraft! I doubt I will be so lucky next time.

Looooots of pirate warrior cuntflaps cunting it up in casual this evening. Take your W and fuck off, yeah? Trying to have some fun here.

Oh and also token druids and shamans. Same deal, you guys. Go play your tier 1 decks in ranked.

Haven't met any quest rogues yet, so that's nice. I roped the fuck out of the last one. Maybe he spread the word to his little ingrate friends.

posted a message on Humungous Razorleaf is Broken, and Needs to be Nerfed.

Try playing with it. Really commit to a big HR and then watch your first Shaman opponent use Devolve. 2-3 cards invested becomes a random 2-drop.

This is what kills silence priest. Massive card disadvantage.

posted a message on Shaku a justifiable craft for miracle giants?

I have Sherazin. Also tons of fun. He usually doesn't do a lot of damage, but man does he ever eat removal!

I guess there's no big hurry on Shaku, then. If I ever decide to have a go at a tempo deck, I may revisit the issue.

The two VS miracle rogue decks included Shaku, so I wondered whether I was missing something obvious. I rarely follow recipes exactly, but legends are fun to include, and Shaku looks to add quite a bit of flavour to what would otherwise be fairly samey games (when he turns up).

Does he significantly improve either fun or the performance of the deck?

I like the idea of him, and have the dust. Yeah,  he's bound to spit out a lot of shit but he also gives oodles of troll potential.

Or play wild... You will barely ever see rogue there, unless it has recently been overrun.

posted a message on So... Are we shit again? Which shaman deck is less boring?

I ponied up for Kalimos. Elementals, here I come!

I figure we'll continue getting useful ones in new sets, so it won't be as instantly stagnant as jade.

Art for the minions looks pretty samey (rock guy, fire guy, etc.), but I will learn to live with it.
