StanCifka posted a message on [TOP 10] Stancifka's Druid EvolutionPosted in: [TOP 10] Stancifka's Druid EvolutionThanks for all the feedback guys, positive or negative! I have to admit that I don't enjoy Druid all that much either, and can't wait for those nerfs to happen. Next time I will do a twitter vote poll, so let me know which deck you would actually like to read about ;)

WaxPaper posted a message on Death Knight Control WarriorPosted in: Death Knight Control WarriorAfter playing a LOT of games with this deck, I just don't think it's viable. It runs out of steam too easily, especially against these control-heavy Paladins, Priests and Mages. I've written about this in a couple other comments in here. Even when subbing in Alexstrasza, it's just not enough. Maybe if I had Rotface, but I'm reading from other people that he's better in a totally different deck altogether...
What's crazy is that I don't know how this deck can get much more sustain that it already has... It's a friggin' Control Warrior, ya know? Has the meta beefed up so much that Warriors can't play the outlast game anymore? Against Priests, sure... But the rest? The games I'm losing to all these control decks; it's like, I can tell halfway through the match that there's nothing I'm going to be able to do to win... It's that bad.
Even though there are new cards in this deck, it feels like we're trying to play an outdated version of Warrior against shiner, newer strategies. That's the problem, I think... This deck works fine against the older, more established decks, but that's not what everyone else is running right now. It's the wrong type of deck for this "mini-meta" or whatever. I'd be interested to know if all the people claiming huge win-rates are really getting matched up against control.

LordBater posted a message on Toxic ArrowPosted in: Toxic ArrowIn a typical Agro Hunter deck this would be a bad card, but I see this could have some great potential in a Control Hunter. As a few others have mentioned it is a flexible card at a cheap mana cost, allowing you to either finish off a minion in the early game, or give one of your 3+ health minions to trade with Poisonous later in the game.
If I open a Deathstalker Rexxar from a pack, I think I might actually try to craft the tools for a Control Hunter :3

MmeMemeStone posted a message on GnomeferatuPosted in: GnomeferatuOne look at the discussion regarding the new card, Gnomish Vampire, suffices to see that there is still quite a lot of misunderstanding regarding the effect of burning
the firsta random card of a deck.
With a given randomly shuffled deck (Hearthstone's case, since there are no positional mechanics as of yet), i.e., on average:
Burning the TOP card of a deck == burning a RANDOM card of a deck == burning the LAST card of a deck !!
Hence, the effect of Gnomish Vampire, for instance, won't matter against a combo deck unless they consistently manage to draw their ENTIRE deck before it ends. In other words, it only matters if the combo deck reaches fatigue.
For those skeptical, here is a spreadsheet I've made detailing the situation: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16jdgjPfFQKbb7R21X8umdyd0HZ-KlNuxHCZAm93iMX4/edit?usp=sharing

Just tested it, seems pretty good. I'm playing it between rank 5 and 1, don't know your rank, but I switched oneTwilight Elder , Rotten Applebaum and a belcher for board clears, Scream and Excavated Evil, since they worked for me a lot against aggro decks. Fun ole times tho, thank you

Those cards you mentioned are definetly nor worth crafting. Two copies of Sleep with the Fishes may be worth it, but Bring It on! and Dead Man's Hand are cards that won't see play in this expansion, if you trying to play something competitve, or at least any good.

Bro I don't know if you are still in trouble but I've beaten the LK with this deck at first try. The thing is, you gotta play the patrons to fill the board with stuff before he plays frostmourne so you kinda stall the board, he will always trade, and meanwhile you should be drawing. Once all the spirists of him are gone, you gotta drop the berserkers and do pyro + spells and comanding shout and then should be easy. I took 7 dmg from his hero power after frostmourne because I was unlucky with the draw, but you should do it earlir in the game. Good luck, reply if you want to ask anything!
