This can literally be said about any card without a Battlecry.
Besides, it's not like Lucentbark would be your win condition. It's a stabilization card. Yeah, it's sucks to lose it, but you can still win the game afterwards.
Not just for this expansion, but this entire Standard year will not have any new Hero cards printed.
They didn't say that either. They just said they were taking a break. You can interpret that in different ways, but you can't state it as fact.
Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if the next or final set came with 9 Hero cards, but with a little bit more careful balancing this time. What a wasted opportunity if they don't; hero cards are really cool, even if a lot of Death Knights were way too strong.
Been having a good bit of fun with this one. It's a nice farewell to Elemental Mage, which has been one of my favourite decks since Witchwood. You kinda have to concede against Hunters, but who cares, it's a Tavern Brawl.
Weaker, yes. Less flexible? The only thing less flexible about it is it can't go face. It pairs incredibly well with Frost Nova, it can Freeze a big minion twice... they said all this in the video. I don't know if its a great card, but its certainly not inflexible.
Actually, I think it might be based on Half-dead Walrus. That was a test card they showed off in a Developer Insights video for The Witchwood. It inspired the Echo mechanic.
Damn son, that is going deep for a call-back. I like it.
For the record, Druid of the Saber doesn't work very well with Fandral either. I mean, it's not disastrously bad, but not every card needs specific Fandral synergy.

I've been saying that Shieldbreaker might find a home now that Keleseth and Baku are gone. This just supports my theory.

He'll go dormant, but he'll awaken as Lucentbark and not Da Undataka. At least, that's how Unearthed Raptor works with Sherazin.

To be more clear, Dryads in WoW are the daughters of Cenarius (a demi-god). Keeper of the Grove is what his sons are called. Laughing Sister, Grove Tender, and Lunara are all dryads.

They've had healing since Classic (Healing Touch, Ancient of Lore, Tree of Life, Moonglade Portal). It was just 2017 when they decided that Druid should have better armor cards than Warrior.
Also, Druid is a healing class in WoW. In fact, they're a hybrid, which is why they have both healing and armor.

How is summoning two tokens not pushing a Token druid?

Tree of Life may not have seen play, but it was tempo suicide. This comes with a 4/12 body at the very least.
It's the same principle that makes Healing Touch bad but Antique Healbot really good.

This certainly makes Ray of Frost look a lot better.

It's not impossible. Millicent Manastorm, Millhouse's wife, is a boss in Legion's version of Violet Hold.

Walking Fountain is going to be excellent in Wild Even Shaman for a consistency boost on Corpsetaker.
