I dropped one of the Alarm-o-bots for Oondasta. The second one was just clutter, and Oondasta helps pull out Shirvallah and can grab Amani War Bear as well.
I've been playing a Silence Priest that seems to do really well against them. I haven't lost to a single Murloc Shaman yet. I'm not running Divine Spirit + Inner Fire, just hard board control with big minions. You field your big guys, keep killing off murlocs, keep healing your minions up, and eventually kill them when they run out of steam. The nice thing is even if they switch gears to kill your guys off, they need to use far more resources doing that than you did to summon them.
Problem is that the deck is utterly worthless against Bomb Warrior (and every control deck) and struggles against Rogue. However, it's pretty satisfying to crush murlocs.
Rush Warrior. I'm currently running a Rush Warrior with 0 cards that are rotating. It's like a tier 3 deck right now, but its worst match-ups are all getting decimated.
It's not 3 mana when your opponent is just going to kill this anyway. It's actually still 7 mana. Might as well actually play Flamestrike so you don't have to rely on drawing two weak cards for the effect.
But it's 7 mana for a flame strike and a body. If you actually play flame strike, your opponent isn't forced to remove anything.
When they have no minions left because you just killed them all, that means they have to sacrifice removal.
Still bad because you have to put Arcane Explosion in your deck. You can do most of this combo with Arcane Anomaly (3 damage instead of 4, but 1 less mana) and nobody played Arcane Anomaly in a non-tempo deck. Unless the meta very specifically has a lot of 1 and 4 health minions, it's really weak.
The Blast Wave synergy is good, but I don't think this card is worth running just for that. That's a 10 mana combo that might not even clear the board, but will kill off your 3/3. Big Spell Mage isn't going to be a thing without Raven Familiar, Dragon's Fury, and Frost Lich Jaina, so it doesn't work there either.
1. This is the first set of the year, out of three. There are 270 cards yet to come. There will probably be at least one neutral dragon in there, maybe even a Legendary one. Judging by the Paladin cards, I'm guessing Blizzard will push a Dragon theme for them at the very least.
2. Year names have nothing to do with anything. If you thought this was going to be dragon-themed, that's your own damn fault. Nobody tricked you, and nobody lied to you.
I not sure to call this a bad card, tricky for sure but not bad.

This actually has a lot of potential with Khadgar. In a theoretical Khadgar deck, you're going to get a lot of random minions. Being able to 'reroll' something bad is a huge boon, getting nearly guaranteed value from the reroll is great, and being able to do it twice is incredible. You can also use it on a summoner if the reroll isn't needed. Oh, and you take a chance and use this as a pseudo-Polymorph if you're desperate.

Sounds to me like they're doing a permanent Brawl Block mode. So, constructed with rotating sets.

Not a fan of the art downgrade. Where's his hat?
I'll hold my judgement on the effect until we see the whole set, but I already hate the artwork.

The IMPression?

Fun deck, though.

You could also play it for fun, and get the packs as a bonus.

It's almost like that's not what the ladder is for.

I'm going to guess no since he doesn't technically attack and kill the other targets.

Why though? The year names have never had anything to do with anything.

I like.

I can't wait to see the tokens. Judging by that tiny Nightmare Amalgam she's holding, they're going to be adorable.
