I'm betting it was a new player thinking they could get their health up to 38. Pretty sure I made that mistake back when I first started playing. What other types of cards did they play? Lots of commons?

They are doing it. On the 22nd. It's not just flipping a switch when things like this get changed. They have to test and QA and make sure nothing else gets messed up before they roll it out. All of that takes time. Wouldn't want them to rush the nerf and end up screwing something else up.

I say enjoy it while it lasts. If you enjoy playing Hunter, get the most out of these last few days before the change. If you don't play Hunter, as others have said, take the time to build a counter deck and layeth the smacketh down.

Then, next week, enjoy the meta shift and see where it takes you. No point in sitting out for a week.

^ Same here. Leeroy is the only legendary that I've opened twice. Should have sat on it. Grrr.

That sentence is flawed. Luck is luck. There is nothing you can do to change it.  Earlier this week I paid $ for the 7-pack bundle. Came out of it with a golden Ysera.

Last night I bought one pack with gold earned from daily quests...got Cairne Bloodhoof.

The way or number of packs you buy means nothing. A pack is a pack is a pack. By buying more packs at one time you are only increasing the number chances you have of getting epics or legendaries. It doesn't alter the chances of a given card actually being epic or legendary

This sums it up perfectly. To everyone slamming the panic button and saying that Leeroy is a dead card now, can you explain why you think that? It's one mana. How can that possibly kill a card that will still be very powerful? At the very least, it just slows down some aggro decks. At the very most, it makes some of the OTK combos either difficult or not possible. But if you were 100% relying on the OTK combos to win games...well, something about all of your eggs in one basket.

Change is good. Mixing up the meta is good. Step back and think about how you need to change your decks and playing style to adapt to the change.

I've had Leeroy since I was lucky enough to get him in a pack back in May right after I started playing. I love the card. I prefer aggro decks. this is not going to stop me from trying to make the decks that I like to play work for me.

tl;dr Take a chill pill and see how the nerf *actually* affects things before taking action.

I just posted this in another thread asking a similar question, but here is the Rogue deck I've been playing lately. I don't have the time to grind to higher ranks, but it does very well in the 20-10 ranks.

Your Backspace Rogue should be fine without King Mukla. I pulled him out of mine several weeks ago and haven't noticed any negatives.

What a coincidence...I just pulled golden Ysera last night! I felt like spending some $ so I bought a 7 pack bundle. She was the very last card that I pulled.

I was pretty excited, but kinda like above, I also generally play mostly aggro decks (I like fast games). I want to play her but it seems like no matter what, most games these days are done on or before turn 8.

No way i'm going to DE her though. I'd dust my golden King Mukla first if i really needed dust.

I'm pretty sure your fix for this issue would be to get a newer iPad. Sorry to be blunt about it. As time goes on you are going to be able to do and play less and less on an iPad 2. I play on the 3rd gen iPad almost exclusively and only ever have lag or disconnect issues when I'm on a wifi network that I know sucks.

I wouldn't hold my breath expecting Blizzard to put forth much effort regarding compatibility on a tablet that is 3 (and after tomorrow, probably 4) generations old.

38 here. Married with child. Never ever played WoW (don't care for RPGs in general). Tried MTG and a really bad werewolf card game called Rage (anyone remember that one?) back in college in the 90s with friends, but neither really held our interest very long. I think  that was because we also discovered the world of first person shooters like Doom, Hexen, Rise of the Triad, etc. so all of our free time went there.

I discovered Hearthstone back in May when I saw it featured in on the front page of the iTunes app store. Gave it a try and have never stopped since. I pretty much exclusively play on iPad. Actually that's about the only way I play any video games these days.

I think it would be interesting to see a Battlecry silencer. Some minion that, as long as it is in play, silences all Battlecries (either for opponent or both players)

I also pulled Snake Trap way back when I first started and I held on to it. Never pulled a 2nd one but it's fun to run in the current Mad Hunter decks right now. Fits right in. I say unless you know what you want to craft with the dust, hold them both.
