Imagine a coordinate system with "RNG" on the X-Site and "Skill" on the Y-Site
Bottom left you find a game like XXO (easy to master and not much Rng possible
Bottom right there is monopoly --> a lot of RNG not that much Skill
Top left is Chess --> much skill but less nearly no RNG ( thats why one of the best chess players once said, they should think about putting the figures of the second line random - to make the game more vversatile
and yet you have on the TOP right games like Hearthstone --> with much RNG and Much skill to master it --> so there is much more viability
I too, have a full proof plan against Face Hunters. The instant I see the dreaded Arcane Golem (turn 3), I pull the telephone line out of my modem, and scream "man exists to destroy, not to create. With this act I banish thee, yea unto the void itself". Then I smash up my computer and stare into the abyssal darkness. It's not 100%, but it is effective.
Well that simply aint true - having played my fair share of Druid I never felt the need to put it in my Fatigue Druid deck. Ancient of Lore absolutely does help and opens up a host of options but similar to Lay on Hands it is not THE vital component on which all decks are made around. Much like most cards they are fantastic to have but workable around if you don't.
i think both Ancient of Lore and Preparation are absolutely required for either of these two competitive decks. And I don't think Fatigue druid comes anywhere close to competitive.
yeah okay - you got a point in the fact, tht fatigue Druid doesnt need AoL - but as pg8 already said, thats far away from beeing competetive right now - which might or might not change with TGT
for this what we call a standard druid deck (Force of Nature -Savage Roar combo) or even the right now popping up mech druid Ancient of Lore is some kind of key card due to its viability and solid body
Hello, I decided to try out Handlock for the first time since I started Hearthstone at April 2014. I must say it is a pretty fun deck to play with, taunting 2 8/8 minions at your last sliver of health, summoning a free 8/8 giant.
However, after I played a week's of Handlock, I found myself losing more games than winning. I dropped from this season's rank 10 to rank 18 in 3 days. but the deck is fun so it was worth it. I would like to ask fellow gamers how do I improve on Handlock? I keep getting rekt by Mages (all types) & eboladin & midrange druid. My deck is basically the same as other handlocks with a little changes.
I run 2 ooze, 2 imp gang, 2 bombs, 1 molten, 1 mountain and no Jax
I decided to use more zombies and imp gang due to the aggro rush decks out there, is this a good idea? And may I know any tips for Handlock? I know about not tapping turn 3 if you have coin, but I'm sure there are others. If you guys are able to teach me more about Handlock and suggest changes, that would be great
It would be great if you post a pic of your deck, could you? so is easier to people to give advice to you :-)
so if you are missing a lot of card from different classes you should start playing 1-3 classes in the beginning and focus on them, not trying to serve all classes at once - exspecially with a new expansion at the front door
as of now i would rather say druid over rogue but you never know
if he isnt a demon for himself and you only put 1 or 2 demons in your deck you could screw up the enemy way to hard i guess - would be a great combo deck card (for instant lethal with jaraxxus sacrificial pact --> that would be to op
If I'm not mistaken, characters are able to take damage more than their HP in this game. As we've seen combat animations showing characters dropping to negative HP before dying.
In other words, I think if I Fireball at Wrathguard, the Warlock would take 6 dmg as well. Or if I slam into Wrathguard with a giant, the Warlock also takes 8 dmg. If that's the case, do you guys still consider this a decent card?
of course - that effect is right - and yeah ofc you can consider this a decent card in the right deck - as mentioned before i would not play this in handlock or even in zoo --> you need the right list for that
kinda going all in on demon strategy where you have the powerful synergies

im not sure how my list was exactly , but i think sth like this:
1x Zombie Chow, 2x Mortal Coil, 1x Ironbeak Owl, 2x Ancient Watcher, 2x Sunfury Protector, 1x Darkbomb,1x Big Game Hunter , 2x Defender of Argus, 2x Twilight Drake, 1x Shadowflame, 2x Hellfire [or vice versa at the removals - depending on Meta] 2x Ancient Healbot, 2xSludge Belcher, 1x Loatheb, 1x Silvanas, 1x Siphon Soul, 2x Mountain Giant,1 x Jaraxxus , 2x Molten Giant
and then you can include either: dr.boom, Ragnaros or Harrison / Ooze
other choices to consider are Earthen Ring Farseer, The Black Knight (when it gts controlly again), Kezan mystic

the best zoo card you miss is impgangboss - but you said you dont have blackrock id play 2 abusive sergeant and 2 direwolfs
take a look at the deck in my signature if you want some things to compare or inspiration -- but all in all i think your deck could do fine

thats why games like hearthstone were invented

aha! *lol - not!
Ancient of Lore is one of the best cards ever printed and an auto include into every druid you make. together with Swipe, Wrath, Keeper of the Grove and even Druid of the Claw they are the Basics of usually every druid
0
to improve against aggro you can add zombie chow and mortal coil and 2 healbots!
but you should never cut on twilight drake nd the giants
maybe even put in earthen ring if you have some kind of budget problems

yeah they said theyd rather change something on sacrificial pact than on another thing which was related to that - doesnt mean they will do that
