I'm a free2play player, I play since Wotog. I always had atleast 1-2 (after 1-2 years 3-4) competitive decks during every expansion, you just have to be cautious how you spend your dust. It is not that difficult to learn it, don't craft legendarys (you absolutly need them) if you are new to the game, 4 epics or a bunch of rares will improve your collection much better. Make 1 competitive (and fairly cheap deck) then play it a lot, master it, then start playing an other deck.
And play aggro if you are new. I know I know "aggro is braindead" "f*** every face deck" etc. etc. But trust me, aggro decks are usually cheaper, better for climbing and you can learn a lot from them. (How to play around AoE but still pressure your opponent, when to trade when to go face, etc. etc.)
I will use this deck in the first few days (if it works then maybe first few weeks) and wait until the meta settles down, and just after that I will craft cards.
I originally wanted to include them, but they don't really fit the deck. This is a more aggro token Druid which relys on early board flood with small minions and fairly cheap buffs, and you try to end the game as fast as possible. The decks that use Wispering + SotF are slower decks with more controlling and comeback tools, they are like oldschool combo Druid which used prenerf Force of Nature and Savage Roar, they have a really strong finisher. I don't know which type of Token Druid will be more powerful, but this version is probably cheaper, 4 epics and 4 rares, it is quite affordable even for fairly new players.
The Darkness is a very unique card so there are questionable interactions with it. (E.g. Glinda doesn't give it echo because on paper it is a minion but the game handles it as a dormant/permanent thing like the Warlock Quest reward)

Good idea, if you think it works better with him, just cut a card which you think is week and try him!;)

Most decks here are pretty slow, mine is a little bit faster:D
I wanted to include the goblin bomb summoners in an aggro deck (other than Hunter) and this is my best idea. Druid can use the 0/2 tokens pretty well.
And with only 4 epic (Living Mana and Branching Pathes) and 4 rare cards it is not an unaffordable deck for new players!

Not a bad idea! The only problem is I don't know what card I should cut for the skaterbot.

Board fill, board clear and a second Reno for Renolock;) (really greedy but could work if you face slower decks!)

I heard that Undertaker Hunter is a solid deck.

The Warlock Quest and Clutchmother, on the first day of Un'goro, they are terrible, no regrets!

I tried C'Thun Warlock, Suicidelock, Midrange Dragonlock (that was actually pretty decent) but the worst I have ever tried is Quest Warlock.
I tried a bunch of different versions, but it was okayish at best, sometimes, rarely.

Warlock time, Warlock time, Warlock all the time!

Glinda+double Baleful Banker is the no fatigue combo.
