posted a message on It will finally happen! Changes incoming

I think this is a step in the right direction! If the pass was even wrt the pass rewards system, now its going to be better for sure! I also think the change of the exp from events to the track itself is very positive, since it is a known exp quantity, constant ovr the expansion cycle. Definitely a step in the right direction. Thank you Blizzard!

    Have a nice day everyone!

For playing a Darkmoon Rabbit for 1-mana (Holy hand Grenade achievement) you can also use Jepetto Joybuzz! You can build a deck with Jepetto, 2 Rabbits and no more minions, then tutor Jepetto (with Witchwood Piper) for the achievement. Happy achievement hunting!

    Have a good day everyone!

posted a message on No pity timer?

It does not! I usually track my opened packs. Leveled to lvl25 when I was at 25 - 27 packs for the pity timer. Opened my legendary on the 33th pack. Either i was lucky to get a legendary in 6 - 8 packs or the lvl25 leg does not reset anything (which would be the normal thing in my opinion).

    Have a nice day!

posted a message on The E.T.C god of metal / broom warrior is bugged

It is considered being a Deathrattle minion, but just when it is in the board. This is why is can trigger Deathrattle effects, such as Play Dead. It's the same as Apotheosis giving Lifesteal to a minion, the attacks of this minion will trigger Lifesteal effects e.g. Il'gynoth, but just when this minion is on the board. When it is not (hand, graveyard, deck) it is no longer a Deathrattle minion, so it seems fair that it is not summoned by N'Zoth, becase the Deathrattle is acquired while on the board, not a per se characteristic of the card, This is also different from E.T.C. since E.T.C. interacts with minions on the board, while N'Zoth interacts with graveyard minions.

I think the interaction is ok!

posted a message on how much money should hearthstone cost?

When it comes to numbers, Blizzard can always have the reason. This is because they know how to play with numbers. Buying the 80€ bundle gives you around 70 - 75% of the cards... I myself bought both pre-release bundles + 40 packs (gold) + 2 legendaries bundle and I am sitting at 92.24% of MatDF cards owned (missing 12 epics and 7 legendaries right now, with pity timer at 30). With more or less the same approach, I am at 95.92% cards for SA (missing 4 epics disenchanted because of nerfs and 6 legendaries, with pity time at 32), and I cannot play some of the the decks without crafting some legendaries. On average, you need 250 packs to obtain a 100% full collection considering you use all the extra dust on crafting missing cards. That's A LOT of packs (well, a lot of money which is the important thing).

In my opinion, the real problem is the legendary drop rate and/or the fact that they are more legendaries per expansion than epics (24 vs 25 for MatDF for example). They do not need to reduce prices of give more rewards... if you lower the pity timer from 40 to 20 packs (+50% decrease), on average you obtain +50% more legendaries (considering legendary probability equiprobable at each pack, thing that I doubt), For 130 packs (two pre-exp bundles) you would obtain, on average (a legendary per 10 packs), 13, + 2 pre-bundles + 2 bundle (the one that is currently in the shop, seems a norm since SA expansion) = 17 legendaries, aprox 70% of the total legendaries. If you buy all these bundles, you would have dust for the other 30%... that's considering the mean. People could directly open all the legendaries or open the 50%. This could be a good way to start when it comes to full paying players (like me). This would also affect the f2p players, obtaining on average 8 legendaries out of 80 packs (8000 gold), which could be 6 - 10 most probably... between 25% and 40% of the total legendaries, +2 of the free track...

What do you think? I personally think that we should focus on more simple things, not just to add this and and this and modify that and return this feature back... let's try to improve what we currently have looking forward, not backwards!

    Good day/night to everyone!

posted a message on What Is The Weakness Of DH?

The most relevant DH weakness, as most have already stated, is the imposibility to remove big minions at early turns. So Pure Pally is the choice.

If you pressure enought for them to use a Blade Dance, a turn 5 Blessing of Authority practically gives you the game on the spot. Not talking about Argent Braggart since they can have silence and some builds have two. I have 100% winrate (all vs Soul DH) this season and an overall +75% winrate against them in the previous 150 games (+25 against DH). It also counters Aggro Hunter (also 100% winrate this season, +75% in the past 150 games +35 against Hunter), so its a win-win if you hate those decks.

    Have a nice day everyone!

posted a message on Diamond 1 - What beats Aggro DH and Hunter the best?

    Hello buddy!

I have been using a pure pally list with extremely good results both vs hunter (5 - 0) and DH (6 - 0) in this season climb to legend. I used the same list pre-patch (waiting till the meta settles to craft anything and no Yrel :'( ), with also good results. From a total of 168 games, score vs DH is 17 - 5 (+77% winrate) and score vs Hunter is 26 - 8 (+76% winrate). Hard mulligan for consec and control board early on, that's it. Hope I help!

Good luck on the climb! Remember, stick to the deck you are most familiar too and do not make the same mistake twice!

    Have a nice day!

posted a message on Blizzard lied about the new reward system

How about daily quests? 1000xp per daily quest x 12 weeks*7days/week = 84000 extra exp.

    94200 - 84000 = 10200 / 400 = 25 hours, 25 hours / 12 weeks = 2 hours/week

So you would need and extra 2 hours per week besides the time used to complete weekly/daily quests. Without taking into account the extra exp gained by completing the quests themselves...

posted a message on Deathrattle is in it's final deathrattle...

    Hello!

While I agree with your first point of Deathrattle being not that useful anymore, I disagree a little with your reasoning. Well, deathrattle mechanic has been always good (and by good I mean top tier) in a meta were either one or 2 things (or both simultaneously) happen:

    1. Way to cheat out deathrattle effect.
    2. Meta slow enough for the deathrattles to make its thing.

In the current meta I would say that neither of both is available, while on the other side, as you say, there is also the possibility to play around them. I also agree with you and I would also say that Mage has more tools than any class right now to deal with deathrattle-type effects due to spell generation (which is being worked on as we can see with Evo nerf). But regarding the other mentions you did:

    • How can Diligent notetaker be a problem if Shaman is not used at all (proportionally to the other classes, I mean)?
    • DH's Consume Magic is often discovered? How? The ways a DH can randomly obtain a Consume Magic is via Wandmaker (1/6 probability?) or with Cobalt Spellkin, and Cobalt is not used in any prominent DH deck right now as long as I know.
    • While it is true that Zephrys is a swiss knife, it is a counter to nearly any strategy, so I do not see why it is a special problem for Deathrattle strategy.
    • Rattlegore issue comes, in my opinion, more from being slow than from being a deathrattle. This goes to my first point, there's not a consistent way to cheat out Rattlegore. Well, in fact there is and that's why Big Warrior appeared, but meta is too fast for the deck to develop appropiately, as my second point stands.

At the end HS is not about "you counter my X by Y", is about consistency. If you can consistently answer/develop anything (including deathrattles), that's a good strategy (see Druid's ramp shenanigans or priest answer to "everything"). Deathrattles right now cannot be consistently developed and some classes, specially meta classes, can consistently answer them. I would say that the reason Deathrattle is not used currently is more because of the first reason (cannot be consistently developed) than the other, since meta classes right now are not meta because of its ability to counter Deathrattle minions (also see Paladin, who has no way to deal with them).

Hope my opinion means something to you. Have a nice day everyone!

posted a message on Last day for pre-purchase?

    Hello everyone,

I know that normally preorders are live until expansion release patch, but in this case the 18.6 patch notes have, as note:

"*Early access obtained through pre-purchase is available between October 22, 2020 and November 11, 2020. Duels game mode is accessible after reaching level 10 with all Hero classes in-game. **Battlegrounds Perks are available upon purchase and expire at the end of the Madness at the Darkmoon Faire expansion cycle."

As far as my understanding goes, this means that November 12 Duels will go live (obvious), but my doubt is: will the pre-purchase stay available? My logic says that it will stay, since days later (12 onwars) there's the bundle codes giveaway and all these stuff in different platforms, but is there any graphic proof provided by Blizzard? I can see them capable of removing the bundles from the store so people doesn't wait to see if they get a code on days 12 - 15.

Thank you in advance and have a nice day everyone!
