    Varedis First Among the Illidari

    Varedis was one of five warriors sent to Illidan by Kael'thas to be trained as demon hunters - the first time that blood elves were allowed to do so. Illidan put the blood elves through excruciating trials that would have defeated most fully trained demon hunters. Three of the blood elves died during the training, and a fourth was driven to insanity. Varedis was the only one to succeed.

    Demon Hunter

    Simple, but intended to be complimented by cards like the following:

    Heightened Senses (3) 

    Your Hero Power damages an additional minion.

    Focus Your Hate (2) 
    Your Hero Power can no longer hit friendly minions. If you played this already, draw a card instead.
    Maiden of Onslaught (7) 
    Your Hero Power deals damage twice.
    4/9
     

    Demon Hunters preferring the company of few or no minions might benefit from including a majority of weapons and spells. This being complemented by the earlier spells that improve the base Hero Power. 

    Other effects on minions or other weapons might include things like:
    Battlecry: Reveal the top card of your deck, if it isn't a minion gain +1 Attack.

    Made to hopefully let CleaveSlam and maybe some smaller minions to see more play in warrior. I think it would be cool to see more Warrior mid-range decks with a few solid supplemental spells.

    To clarify: Minions take extra damage from other minions and from spells, giving an increased potential to trade well, even into a more defensive/higher Health board.

    Submission 3: Felforged Imp

    I'm not a fan of spamming hero powers and I would welcome the opportunity to intelligently plan when I won't be using my power in exchange for increased budget on my minion <3! Additionally, playing things like Imp-losion or Acolyte of Pain could be fun if you built the deck around it. Maybe this could be the same deck that you rock Haunted Creeper, Harvest Golem and your Anima Golem (Or more realistically Sea Giant).

    On the other hand it feels like something that could be played in a Handlock or Midrange Demon Deck on turn 3 before Twilight Drake. By mitigating the health loss to your minions it could also serve well as a safer and less Molten Giant dependant Handlock.

    I feel like there could be room for something different that could function with the same big payoff as Muster for Battle + Quartermaster,  but can't be done in turn. Due to the 9 cost this relies on Totems that were solely in play on the prior turn, but gives the considerable threat of multiple Earth Elemental much like Muster for Battle on a early turn with a Quartermaster to follow.
