I think there'll be far more impactful legendaries to craft this expansion. Not saying that this one is bad by any means but...

bugchaz posted a message on Year of the Phoenix: The Death of Aggro, Year of ValuePosted in: General DiscussionI almost quit the game 5 times. Undertaker Hunter, Mysterious Paladin, 4 mana 7/7 Shaman, Get in here Warrior, Jade Druid.
Basically, when the game is 1 deck to rule them all meta. From my point of view, the deck archetype doesn't matter, aggro, tempo, control, as long as it's not a 1 deck meta, otherwise the game itself is fine.
Buffing Priest is good, otherwise the only control viable class will be Warrior. Also, buffing control cards mean Blizzard can print better aggro cards, buffing Priest is the beginning of a new era of new power creeping. It used to be power creeping basic/classic sets, but from this year onward it will be power creeping cards from older sets.
Seeing Blizzard Unnerfed some cards is also a good thing, it means they are consider this option instead of printing new cards to power-creep the nerfed cards.

Louzy82 posted a message on No duplicates means you get full expansion in just 49 packs?Posted in: General Discussionit seems like he made some changes to the way he calculates it, so comparing the 2 numbers is not only boiling down to the new no duplicates rule.
Having more legendaries of course impacts the amount of packs you need to get a complete set.
It does not however affect the average dust per pack, so I still dont understand that part of it.Also, these are just raw numbers, the effect of the rule should be that you do not need to craft as many epics because you don't get duplicate ones.

Ahh. Trade 1/1 divine, then ping your 1/1. Play shark. Mechanize snip snap, then play snip snap, then play mecharoo boom. Great puzzle!

The drawback to this card is that you must first attack with it, which you will not always be able to do optimally, whereas with Greenskin you get the +1/+1 without being forced to make a sub-optimal trade. This is better than Greenskin, yes, but not overwhelmingly so. Greenskin being a pirate is also relevant.

Yes. Not the top 5 cards or 5 specific cards. 5 random cards from your deck.

I agree with most of what you said but I think you are wrong to confuse random card generation with luck. That may seem oxymoronic, but as in all games with chance, it is about manipulating randomness to favor you more often than not. Rogue requires dozens of seemingly insignificant decisions and orderings that quickly separate skill ranges amongst players. While there is random generation, I think it requires a great deal of skill to play at an elite level.
Having said that, Mage is far gone. Once you are able to play it optimally, it becomes complete chance. Basically, at high legend, Mage is crapshoot because for a very good player it is easy to play outside of one or two big decisions throughout a game.
Druid is an understandable complaint, I'm indifferent about it but I can accept that it is not very fun to play against.
Priest is certainly heavily RNG based, but the class as a whole is not too strong that it's a significant issue for me.

I'm going to disenchant them for the additional dust as I don't play wild.

They fixed it three hours ago! Moved from 903 to 961!...

Just lost vs a player ranked 1224 and moved from 901 to 902.

Crystalsong Portal and King Phaoris synergy.

My guess is that the MMR intended to be released in April is already in place since the recent update. We are playing players so similar to us in MMR that a win or loss is hardly significant according to the original ranking structure.
