Ahh. Trade 1/1 divine, then ping your 1/1. Play shark. Mechanize snip snap, then play snip snap, then play mecharoo boom. Great puzzle!

The snip snaps don't trigger the shark when you mechanize them.

I think it's a 1/8 chance at lethal? The snip snaps don't trigger the shark.

You have 13 damage on board, by playing two snip snap (3 of our 5 mana) on any one of our minions, we now have 17 damage. By pinging face we are at 18 damage and by playing the mecharoo we deal 3 damage randomly (1/8 chance)

Issue resolved. Not quite sure why it wasn't opening but alas it is now.

Is anyone else having this an issue playing on Android mobile? I successfully played for 5-6 hours yesterday upon updating my game, but today the app crashes in 2-3 seconds (doesn't make it passed the tavern doors).

Having the same issue. Also, earned it in back in the day for whatever that's worth. I play on mobile and can select any cardback as my favorite EXCEPT for the cupcake cardback.

I think it's much easier to fall behind nowadays. Divine favour was permanent card draw, this card effectively only draws what you are able to use, and what is the likelihood that you're going to play 3+ cards the turn you spend this 1 mana, versus just playing the cards you do have and not floating 1 mana to do so. I think this card looks better than it is. 1 mana is not nothing. As a rogue you are pushing tempo and have no issue with card draw/generation so in that regard it's seemingly filling a need that isn't there. In terms of combo decks, yes, this card has potential.

You will be less likely to be in position to find lethal because you are running this card, which does not itself push tempo.

This card is helpful if you are low on cards, and either have a low mana deck OR a lot of mana for the turn you play this. In either case, this card is taking up a spot or two to find something/generate some draw, when you could instead just run more of the type of card that you want instead of this.

I don't imagine this working well in aggro, because it is a dead card in the early game, when you are looking to play your low costed cards (which you have a lot of already, and if you needed more, you could just run those instead).

So, I think this card has potential in a control/combo deck, if at all. If you can consistently stabilize the game with a wide range of cards in your deck, (as this itself will not directly influence the game and prevents you from naturally drawing those directly influential cards) then you can afford to use this as a means of finding a powerful card like Galakrond, Kronx or Malygos (to name a few).

The turn you play this card, it is good, potentially very good, but consider all of the turns you do not play it.

These are simply my initial thoughts. What am I missing?

Yes. Not the top 5 cards or 5 specific cards. 5 random cards from your deck.

FWIW, I actually didn't use the word luck at all. I think you are reading it into what I said.

Managing RNG is always going to be a part of this game, and it is important. But it's all a spectrum. And right now, myself and many others feel that many classes in the game are too far on the Lots of Game-Deciding RNG side of the spectrum.

I think what vS said in their most recent podcast is true: many of these classes are so dependent on random card generation because they don't actually have a way to kill their opponents. Actions like HOF-ing Leeroy and Mind Blast, and nerfing Cold Blood exacerbated this problem. Getting rid of them was fine, but they didn't replace those cards (yet) with ones that actually do things to end games.

I think that you are implying luck when you suppose a dependency on RNG. I personally don't think it is a problem with Rogue, but I agree that it is with classes like Mage and highlander DQA rolls. Priest I'm not fond of but it's not particularly strong, though I imagine it will be a significant problem going forward.

Paladin has a lot of hidden gems in standard. I think it's one set away from being very good. Shaman... seems hopeless at the moment. If they decide to commit to totems or control then it could be very powerful, but like Paladin, it seems like they're doing too many different things with the class and that's preventing it from being strong in one particular area. Warlock misses Mountain Giant!

It's not the best. It's not the worst. A lot of decks just don't "feel" good, and  that's the sticking point for a lot of people. I know it is for me.

The only playable classes that aren't heavily reliant on various forms of RNG are Warrior and Demon Hunter.

Highlander decks are singletons and DQA is one of the biggest RNG problems in the game.
Druid is incredibly dependent on hitting ramp early.
Priest, Rogue, and Mage are RNG fiestas.

Paladin, Shaman, and recently Warlock are really underpowered compared to the other classes

I agree with most of what you said but I think you are wrong to confuse random card generation with luck. That may seem oxymoronic, but as in all games with chance, it is about manipulating randomness to favor you more often than not. Rogue requires dozens of seemingly insignificant decisions and orderings that quickly separate skill ranges amongst players. While there is random generation, I think it requires a great deal of skill to play at an elite level.

Having said that, Mage is far gone. Once you are able to play it optimally, it becomes complete chance. Basically, at high legend, Mage is crapshoot because for a very good player it is easy to play outside of one or two big decisions throughout a game.

Druid is an understandable complaint, I'm indifferent about it but I can accept that it is not very fun to play against.

Priest is certainly heavily RNG based, but the class as a whole is not too strong that it's a significant issue for me.
